I feel so miserable right now that i have a broken HAND AND WILL BE OUT FOR 2 MORE WEEKS(1 WEEK ALREADY FELT LIKE ETERNITY).The waves look so goood. i guess il watch
Sorry to hear... but a couple weeks isn't so bad... take the time to pick up a camera or camcorder or something.
i alread tool some pics a couple times and now im back surfing finally, but i broke my last board yesterday, i hope my new one comes soon
back in late july i tore my radial collateral ligament in my thumb, and broke the first metacarpal head. (fancy talk for the joint at the base of your thumb connecting to your hand). after several weeks in a fiberglass splint and multiple mri's, i was told i needed surgery to repair the ligament and joint. long story short i was out of action for over 2 months, and i still have problems with the hand. it sucks, but i have gotten some great photos during the waiting period. it hurts watching all the swell roll through from the beach day after day though.
well i tore the akelis tendon on my right ankle and was on crutches for like 3 weeks and let me tell you srutches suck, then i about had to get surgery to repair it luckily i didnt but was very close they were saying by looking at all the mris.and that still bothers me and it happend in like january from a surfing accident and im stiil afraid to that floater. also my left knee can dislocate at any time so when im surfing or playing lax i have to be carefull not to push myself to hard that it will dislocate, thats another reason im afraid to floaters cause i dixlocated it once doing a floater. but i can like tell when storms are coming through my knee its pretty cool.
surf-forecasting through the knee is pretty bad-ass.....anyshot at picking up tides or wind directions with it?
yea i had a spiral fracture on my third metacarpal which is the middle finger hurt very little today while i surfed my friends 5'10 which was way too small(im 6') I definately learned to be more careful when at work.
