What lightweight gloves (3m and under) do any of you think have the best grip and flexibility. What do you think about the liquid dipped gloves by Rip Curl and the Techno Gooru Gloves by Oneaill. Those seem like they may not have very good traction to the board for some reason.

    Thanks!

I recently tried on both the 3mm and 5mm the O'Neill liquid dipped gloves and they felt like they weighed about twice as much as the non-liquid-dipped variety and were so stiff with all of that rubber I could hardly move by fingers in any size except ones that were so large there was 1/2 inch of air space at the end of every finger. Maybe they just have to be broken in or something, but i'm not buying anything that feels that uncomfortable.

    Agreed. These: http://glacierglove.com/our-products/fishing/kenai-neo-full-finger.html
Nothing comes close. Was turned on to these many years ago and been buying them ever since. They don't last more than a winter or two if you're lucky, but they are worth it. I wear large with other gloves, but I get these in medium so they are nice and tight. Do not get the version with the fleece lining, because they get heavy as ****. Good for kayaking or fishing, but not surfing. Stick with the ones I put in the link that just have the nylon lining.
