Figured I would bring back this thread.

Been trying to dial in my weirdo and finally found a combo that worked, at least for today. Iam 175lb's....Tried am2 as tri, then switched am2 quad with 4.0...disliked those options..to dam big....went to am1...same scenario, both tri and quad using 4.0's. Then switched to f4. Much better as a tri and then threw the 4.0 as quad and didn't like that as a quad. Got some Rastas wct. My favorite as a tri and figured on a whim, order some 3.75 quads. Figure go with a smaller surface area on the quads since wct's are larger then the f4. Loved this board as a quad with the wct and 3.75's. Surfing Conditions were some what similar with every scenario...waist and semi steep, not mush.

Feels good to have some stoke with this board. When it gets big, probably just use the wct as a tri. Finally feels good to have it dialed in...or maybe I was just in sync. Regardless, I felt really good about that board with those fins after that session. I definitely like the wct's with a little less rake. Probably surf like sh*t next time out, then I will be back to square one......

The WCT's have a nice pivot point. Without that rake they're able to turn fast. I didn't like mine for drawn own cutbacks but lets be honest - how often are the waves big enough here for nice drawn out roundhouse cutbacks?

Ive only ridden the thruster setup. I have JJF in now and haven't ridden them much but I like the feel. When I get some better waves i'll post my review.

you went through a lot of fins. did you buy all those or fin tree or fin addict?

I had the am2's from an old board (use to weigh around 215-220, am2's seemed good for that weight but now Iam @ 175), but bought the f4's, am1's and wct's. Been seriuosly thinking about doing the finatict. Nice to tinker around...trying to find the best fin before final purchase. With my ability, I honestly didn't think it would make much of difference, but it seems too...
