yellow river will the athletes be peeing in their suit/pool? will a dye pack explode? the answers…..are not…..forthcoming.
F~ck that! I spend enough on surfing as it is. I'd rather put that money towards a surf trip. I didn't strike it rich on a game of keno or what ever, so I really need to mind where my money goes. You won't find this guy pseudo-surfing in that bath tub. Occy and Robbie Page wouldn't surf there either. What if the line is long and you only get 2 try's in a half hour? Super lame!
I think Lipsmacker said it best, surfing is the easy part. I can practice my turns on a snowboard when it's cold and on a half pipe when it's warm (or when my old body heals from my last skatepark session). It's getting into the wave at the right spot, wave selection, dealing with the lineup and the reward of all of that happening right that makes surfing for me. That being said, there are a lot of things I might want to try, but when I just took off on a medium-sized wave that I know is going to be a long and fun ride, I'm less inclined to risk the rest of my wave than I would be if it was just a matter of walking back to the end of the line. It also looks like a good investment. Not one I'm going to make, so money where mouth is ain't gonna happen, but still could pay off fairly well. Regardless, if NYC gets one, I'll be there opening day.
Dougie I like that response. I agree with most of it, which is why I'm only considering shredding the tub once. And if the line is long bro? Stay in the pool and tear it up the whole time - it'll take their "security" 30 minutes anyway to try and remove me. No different from an aggro lineup, get yours with authority. You know there'll be some pushy moms with their 12-year olds to contend with.
