im curious to know if anyone on here ever chased a swell.like chase a swell from florida to nova scotia surfing every spot it makes landfall near.some people chase the swells that hit Hawaii that travel to cali, surfing jaws one day and mavs the next.i personally never chased a swell and would love to hear some good stories on what its like.

if anyone remembers the hurricane hunters videos with cory lopez and alek parker they would chase every hurricane all up and down the coast.

anyway if anyone has any crazy swell stories like chasing a swell from morocco to spain or maybe obx to ny please share:cool:

Never have, but definitely on my surfing bucket list. Takes time, money and the ability to drop everything and go. One day....

yea that's true,i think all surfers should chase a swell once in their lifetime.i couldn't imagine how awesome it would be to chase a swell from Hawaii to cali to mexico.surf multiple spots that offer different variety of waves all with the same swell.i always thought the energy moves too fast and u could never catch the same swell twice, but I seen some cool footage over the years

If things don't work out with my current life situation that's going to be next up on the agenda for sure. It can be done, but no attachments are going to be necessary, either that or a really understanding boss and wife (yes they are two different people)
