Even got a few shots of some of over the shoulder shade! Really looked like a good day to get covered up! Hell of a board that guy was riding too! So does he drag his foot "Rick Kane" style to turn the thing?
Last one, since I had to miss out this weekend I was only able to mind surf by looking at these pics, but this was pretty typical most of the winter and I definitely got my fair share this season. Hoping Spring continues to bring the goods... http://www.gulfster.com/Daily/2014PictureGallery/030914ec/index.html
Sorry, no I never owned one, but am guilty of pawing over them in the shop. They had these wild shapes that always caught me eye.
DP, i was over in Melbourne by the boardwalk on Saturday. It was late afternoon and the winds had gotten on it but it was still fun as could be. I drifted forever and day. So far, i thought i was lost when i got out.
Glad you got out bbop, next time when it's out of control N to South drift / NE wind, head up to the pier and get on the South Side of it and it'll clean up for you and won't drift so bad, it'll be a little smaller but higher quality on those conditions, unless you can keep up with the drift and get enough waves, then do your thing, which it sounds like you did.
Surfed 16th Street Cocoa Beach Saturday and Sunday sets overhead not much drift. BBOP 1322 my suggestion is next time you find yourself drifting throw out an anchor or with the last swell go right.
awesome pics. Ive seen days almost that good at that spot. Cant wait to make the Move counting down the days.
