sure didn't. ain't got time for that. regardless, solid surf, and some insane barrels. i don't bother with these kinds of spots anyway. too much paddle battling and bro/pro ripper buds in the water.

Ihatelongborders, why spoon feed everyone where it is. Let them use google earth and their own brain. Its by no means a secret but why make a crowd of 50 into a crowd of 100? On the other hand, the video shows what kind of session it was. I was out on that day at that spot and let me tell you Mike's crew were a bunch of DOUCHBAGS!!!! Mike and Hammer are cool but everyone else they brought seriously killed the session. They started yelling at everyone claiming they got dropped in on or someone pinched the barrel. BUT dropped on EVERYONE with no regard. You get the idea. Until they showed up, it was smiles and barrel trading aka an epic session. Needless to say, if the crowd increases so will the douchbaggery.

We should dispose of all New Jersey pro surfers, and their name-dropping hangers-on.

I can just imagine what the "friends" of these pros are like. Well, besides Archy, he's cool as funk.

It's funny how people are treated, and the status they have just because they can do an air. Frickin barrier island heroes. Everyone sucks-up to them, and tries to become cool by association. They are special people because they can throw a couple of hacks.

If they were real pros then they should go on the tour. Why are there so many of them in New Jersey? Lifestyle pros suck. They serve no purpose and don't do anything. I don't know why sponsors think they are viable to their company.

Has anyone of youse guys ever bought a surf product because Andrew Gesler promotes a certain company?

Surfers are punks. I dislike when surfers try and act tough and shoot. Most New Jersey surfers are middle class pseudo-toughs who live in sheltered environments.

Who the heck do these guys think they are by yelling at people? Why is that stuff tolerated? Why do people always have to be a-holes?

One time at 1st St in OC, some years back, I was checking it, and walked by a New Jersey pro. I don't know who it was, but I know he was a pro ( winter......hood....didn't quite catch the stickers on the board).

So, as I passed by, I offered a friendly, "Hey what's up?"

He ignored me. So, I said, " F You, man." He ignored that, too. He had this gosh dang air aboot him. Some self-important aura aboot himself. It makes me angry. It really does.

Wow, you surf well, and have sponsors. That makes you such an important human being.

And wow, you know a pro surfer. Yeah, drop that name, and ride the coattails into barrier island VIP status.

New Jersey so does get waves. Just because it's not consistent and we don't always have overhead doesn't mean they aren't waves. We have our days and even shoulder high is good to me

I hate that sh*t as well. Having stickers and sponsors does not mean you can take any wave you want. There are many talented surfers in the water who shred just as hard as the pros. I just dont understand why they had to come out and totally ruin an epic session. Toward the end of my session all I could think about is how douchy those guys were rather than the epic surf. NJ is getting more crowded but there is no reason why we can't play nice in the sandbox. Especially from pros who get multiple surf trips a year. Let us score some waves, most of us can surf well, this isn't summer kookiness

That place is scary. One of the park rangers I know told me that its the rookies job to watch for lewd acts through binocs and make arrests. Not sure what a counts as a lewd act there cause every time ive walked through or near it, its basically one giant lewd act. In my 20 yrs surfing ive caught it good to phenomenal in that general area about a dozen times after relentlessly searching , checking , parking , walking, driving......Every time I catch it, its a catch 22 im not sure if the surf is worth the mental scars and the paddling in the extra strength current.
