Don't be posing with dead sharks in Australia! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/04/03/girl-dead-shark-photos_n_5084260.html?utm_hp_ref=weird-news
Yeah, did you guys here about the older lady that got nabbed by an 11 footer in OZ yesterday? She left the pack of swimmers, just like the guy at Flethers cover in San Diego did a few years back and the shark "took her away" it said. They other swimmers said it looked to be 11 or 12 feet. The lady wasn't feel well and started to swim back in and that bastard just nabbed her up.... The swimmers said that they huddled together in a pack for safety. Sketchy. Open ocean swimming has always freaked me out a bit. Anywhere. In HI, CA dont matter. Something about it just dont seem right... Used to watch 60 foot whales roll up on swimmers in the LJ Cove. I would be looking out the window like "look out man, there is a freaking giant beast right next to you!"
Seldom, i agree. A couple of weeks ago I went snow boarding up in PA, on my way home a bad wreck happened right in front of me. As we are walking around to make sure everyone is okay, these a-holes were taking selfies in front of the mangled cars and laughing. A-holes Zach, I saw that one, too. Sad Hey Zach, how is the kid doing?
I do alot of ocean swimming. One time a manatee swam by and I went after it to pet it, or at least get a better look, see if it had any prop scars...It took off too fast for me to catch up with it. I was swimming for another few minutes, and then came in near the lifeguard tower. The guard yelled at me that I was an idiot, and I said WTF? He said he thought the bull shark was gonna eat me. I responded that I thought it was a manatee (it was huge and brown - about 10 feet long and very very wide). He said I was an idiot, that manatees don't have dorsal fins, and I was lucky not to have been eaten alive. I swear I never saw the fin. If I did, I might have freaked, and it might have gone on the offensive.
Awesome man. She is doing awesome... She is a little too small to surf yet, only 2 and a half, but she stand on my boards and loves watching me surf... I push her around on a little mini boogie board and she freaking loves it. Very stoked. Going to go up to DE this summer to check out my dads new digs up there. I will send a shout out to everybody before I head up there. excited to surf up there. Been a few years now.
That is freaking crazy... At least the guard was looking out for you. The day that all the guards knew there was a big ol whitey in the area, they just watched me surf and never said a word. I was like, thank d-bags. You yell at me the second I drift into the swim zone, ***** at us at 10:59 when you need to Black Ball avalanche, but when a large ocean predator is lurking in my vicinity, you guys just stare at me for an hour. You are lucky though, bull sharks usually don't play nice from what I hear. If I see a fin of any size and it ain't a dolphin, a brother is getting out of dodge immediately.
Let's see her do this,
THE BACKSTORY: The most notorious of all Zeppelin legends.......... then proceeded to stuff pieces of shark into her _____ and _______." THE TRUTH: Somewhere out there is a sixtysomething woman who might be able to confirm the whole thing, but it's hard to imagine her coming forward. just asking
