Ehhhhh, up here sup'ers snag (or try to) snag everything...so from my vantage point they get put on top of surfers (not that I agree with this...those paddles rafts could easily kill someone!). Also they get (I would estimate) a 1-2 minute "paddle ahead" line up because they stand 2-3 feet higher than the average surfer sitting on a board (lower view = less view). Sucks, we surfers need to come equipped with a periscope!

sandbridgesemilocal, in sandbridge it's so easy to surf alone, and in other VB it's more of a black friday sale type of thing. (No offence, black people).

And I love your answer Roy, why not just put yourself on top of the list? F*ck it

For VB, starting at the top, it's:
Developers and other major campaign contributors
    Local politicians
    Out of town tourists
    Sport teams
    Wildlife
    Pets
    Local residents
    Military
    Homeless
    criminals
    college students
    skateboarders
    Metal detector people
    Swimmers
    Boogie boarders
    SUP'ers
Dead beached whales, dolphins, and sea turtles
Those smelly dead sponges (the animals) that periodically wash up on the beaches
    Beach trash
    Surfers

In some people's eyes the last two on your list might be considered one and the same.

    My short list:

shrarc-unter (self-proclaimed apex predator of the planet)
Roy (self-proclaimed best at just about everything else)
NJShredMachine (self-proclaimed king of bench offs, pier shotting and Hindu banging. Needless I say more.)
    The rest of us
    Whale shi7
    Wayne

    But to its their own...

I would have bet a $500k surfboard that you'd have Randy Rarick at #1 on your hit parade, gnome.

    Seriously?

Kiteboarders are just about equal in annoyance factor to SUPers for me. They are able to reach outer reefs easily and have them to themselves, yet they choose to do their little rigmarole right next to the beach so they can show everyone how "cool" they are and when, inevitably, their kite comes crashing down to earth they take out a 5o foot radius of swimmers/surfers/kids playing in the sand.

And this coming from someone who learned how to kite a few years back. It's stupid. May as well go hang from the clothesline in my backyard.

    So...
    From best to worst:
Mermaids (because they have nice knockers)
Dolphins (because I've seen videos of them kicking sharks @$$e$)
Sharks (because they can eat me)
Kelly (because he's as good as Dayne, but hipsters won't admit it)
DaBull (because he wore cool b&w boardshorts, presumably to hide his giant balls)
Lopez (because he was amazing a had a cool 'stache that Dylan Graves is trying to bring back)
Older Surfers that rip (because most aren't d-bags)
Groms (because they have the stoke)
Younger guys that rip (because most are d-bags, but they rip)
Spongers (because they're having fun and rarely give 'tude)
Informed beginners that don't make a nuisance of themselves
Kooks on soft boards (they get in the way, but don't damage your shiny new stick when you run over them)
Kooks on shortboards (They just sit in the impact zone hoping they won't have to paddle for waves)
Kooks on pop-outs (They get in the way, cause damage, and send money overseas)
SUPers (they just suck, get in the way, snake, drop in, have a 20-24ft damage radius, etc.)
Kiteboarders (They zoom through the lineup, in between surfers, with tight razor sharp lines and don't even ride waves, just show off their "airs")

I hear ya, brother... But in terms of the ability to catch more waves, go out in gnarlier conditions, access unaccessible breaks, speed, power, airs, carves... pretty much everything but tuberide... kiteboard SURFERS are definitely at the top of the wave riding food chain. Not that I like that fact... because I don't... and I did have a kiteboarder physically land right on top of me in his attempt to "show off."
