I've seen the the RC surfers used in the water. There are also airborne versions. Not as much fun, IMO. The flying shark is like something from the Sharknado movie that was such a big hit this past week.

I'm thinking "SUP" repellent. Maybe some sort of floating device that senses a paddle and a craft over 9'6" and just unleashes a healthy blast of electric current and puts out a nice spritz of "ass" in the air! Oh and a community service message reminding them that they are not "Laird Hamilton" !!

Ocean Based Wave Machine. Stick a few high powered turbines in the water about 2 miles out. Aim them at Hilton Head Island and call it a day. Don't worry, they will be solar powered and they will shred anything that gets within a nautical mile of them underwater to the east. So you wont have to worry about animals getting stuck, they will pass right through into particle matter.

A time machine - to go back and ride waves that were never ridden - in an empty lineup

How about something like this with a bar, so we could all hang out after our session?
