Haven't had much to add so haven't posted much lately.

Saw what I THOUGHT was a dolphin surf a nice hollow chest high wave at CB Easter Sunday. Kept watching for it to surface and never saw it come up. 10 minutes later saw the same 10 foot shape surf another wave. Never saw it surface again. Didn't get a clear look at the fluke; I've never seen a dolphin not surface to breath after playing in the surf. Kind of sketched me out, but I went out again.

Funny you say that...I caught a little bit of fun sloppola this evening and had lots of fishy water and funny water
One of those evenings with lots of gulls and pelicans just out of arms reach and always seeing something out of the corner of my eye
May be like last summer at CB, alot of sharky days up and down the island

You can tell it's flat when the kooky phantom sharky stories start popping up. Maybe it was your Aunt Irma, ever think about that boyz? About as much reality as your doofus phantom shapes stories.

I saw a huge dolphin in 45 degree water today. Kinda cold for them I figure?

Brings to mind Gaf's dorsal fin encounter he wrote about a couple weeks ago on another thread. He stayed out and kept surfing. I'd probably leave a brown wake in the water getting back to the beach.

don't think so. april is their 'show-up time' and some of them do a 'boys are back in town' routine.

All of you are dying for Flipper to lead you to his lair - his cave of prehensility. Bunch of weird brahs you are.

...and this is where brewengineer chimes in with "to each his own".

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Don't forget we are having huge whales come surface in the lineup randomly in kitty hawk. I have never seen that before, at least not this close. It is just that time of the year. The ocean is alive after a brutal winter. So much for global warming.
