this i have done. better by canoe. after a couple miles you won't even believe its new jersey. sandblasters does amuse me though. no danger from homeless as few liquor stores but watch out for errant 50CALIBER rounds
from njnatlguard fighters (they will apologize when caught; we're not a backwater but we have 'em….).

Yeah, Seldom. I can be your guide. I speak Piney and my Sasquatch call is second to none. You just supply the potions for altering.

Maybe. The Pines also have "Pineys", the folks that inhabit the Pine Barrens. Many of them are super creepy, plus that Jersey Devil thing might be running around out there.

Camping in Brazilian jungles was no more creepy for me than camping in the Pine Barrens.

    Creepy can be fun though.

Some years ago I went down for 2 separate extended stays. My ex was Brazilian, so she was a good in.
I felt safer in the jungle then in the streets and hillside hoods of Rio. I like nature more than structure so I spent a lot of time in the jungle.

I knew enough Portuguese to cruse solo and got asked if I was Brazilian regularly, particularly in a town called Freiburgo or Freiburg in English. The f'd up reason for this? The WWII Nazi expat population. Freiburg was full of Aryan looking people. They escaped persecution by going there post WWII. I felt weird there.

I crused different areas of the country and did different sh!t, from sick skate sessions in Rio to hanging in a Krishna village way, way out in the jungle (like 6 hours on hairball mountain roads through impassable jungle, without a single structure or person in between, out there). I had some sick adventures in Brazil for sure.

I gotta say, being from Delmarva, I think the curfing community up there is awesome. I leterally haven't met a d-bag from there ever. They get great waves by east coast standards. They stay out of the lime light and quietly get shacked all year... You could throw a stone from NE Delaware and hit new jersey, so I don't understand the big social differences. Not trying to blow up your spot Delmarva, just giving yall a pat on the back. ALWAYS had a great time up there. Good surf, better people... Word.

We meet at Chatsworth, NJ and then head South/Southwest. If we survive, we can head to the Wooden Jetty for a DP the next day.

i just saw that,i thought it was always illegal there.i remember one of my first trips to the beach,my brother dropped me off and told me to go ask someone for a cigarette for him.i was 11 yrs old at the time lol,in bmar.at that time I didn't know there were other surfers in jersey, until I went to Belmar lol.idk I havnt been to Belmar in probably 8 yrs even tho its the closest beach to me,but I think it was cooler as a teen.all the girls there are like eleventeen years old so,i refuse to go.last time I was there saw somebody skoot off the boardwalk on a bike and got hit by a car.it was hilarious lol..good memories
