Surfed for a couple hours in some windswell chop yesterday afternoon, and then left my go pro on the sidewalk by my car like an idiot. Thankfully, the people living in the house in front of where i parked found it and were happy to return it when i rushed back a half hour later. This morning i woke up at 5 am to dawn patrol it with a friend before school and got some fun ones. The bell rang at 12pm and i hurried back for some more as the off shores picked up a little bit... here's some crappy clips i got

edit out the few seconds of scramble paddling before paddling into the wave. IMO its dizzying to the viewer to watch, also it could be beneficial to slow it down a notch... not like Slo-mo but just a bit slower.

Check out some good go-pro edits, you might notice some trends in editing. While the go pro is a versatile camera, good editing tends to be overlooked.

You are doing a good job though bro. Making me miss CA. Good surfing. Keeping the stoke up. Keep crack in at the edits. I also really did the angles when u get s homie over on the shoulder holding the camera steady. Like having a pro photog for free. Or keep your boy in the flats.

    Well done tho man.

I agree it's better to just designate a friend to film if your looking to make a decent video, but too bad all my buddies want to surf haha

Look how damn good of a tread this is top to bottom:
    - seanmcgaff charges mad waves in 36 hours and gets stoked
    - seanmcgaff has style and grace with both his surfing and editing
    - SI brahs give seanmcgaff props for aforementioned achievements
    - seanmcgaff asks SI brahs for honest critique
    - SI brahs give seanmcgaff respectful and helpful advice
    - seanmcgaff is humbly stoked to receive posi feedback

Compare this to past treads where certain Floridian LBers have gone off the deep when posting footage highly to the contrary with quite a different response to community opinion. This tread should be a damn PSA/tutorial for how to conduct yourself both at the home break and the innernayt break here.

No wayz brah! I was admiring all of it. We are a bunch of animals here but doesn't mean we can't have an orderly pack at times. It's weird though these days, there's a lot of harmony here for the most part. Keep it up bro, you're doing us a solid with your stoke!

not gonna lie, it is difficult at times to post something serious without passivity.

I dig your videos and it could be cool to see you advance your editing skills.
