haha....Bull****. TOTAL B.S. Almost every morning is offshore in FLORIDA?
That's true in California. HELL NO in Florida. I know that just out of curiosity checking forecasts and surf reports down there when I'm bored.

Almost every time you guys manage to get a swell in the water, you got easterly winds on it. This monday being a prime example.

What is with people on here and making stuff up?

So how come SI is always in the red in florida? Even in the morning? Is the forecast not accurate?

In cali, you see it green, then go blue, then go red by noon at the latest.

I've been watching florida's forecast for a long time(I need to get a life). It's got to have the worst onshore winds on the east coast by far. Very difficult to find it green at any time including the morning.

Man. Even when I try and be nice. California has almost Zero offshore winds ever. Google it. Literally google "why are waves bigger on the west coast", and you will get twenty links to long period fetch and onshore wind flow is why California has waves. The east coast has 70% or so offshore which kills all the local wind swell. Its a fact. That has nothing to do with the conversation. Also read why Hawaii and ca get bigger waves with longer periods. Its because the longer the distance the waves travel and the fetch, the larger they get and the more energy is accumulated. Its the exact opposite of this swell decay. Swell decay from a buoy even 100,miles offshore is irrelevant. It continues to build, but Tue gradual slopes on the east coast kill the surf. Not the distance from the buoy. Its the exact opposite in the open ocean.

Anyway peeps. It is what it is. Buoys don't lie. Ask a navy seal. Ask a boat captain. Ask a fisherman. Ask a lifeguard. They use buoys. Buoys don't just loft up and down and rad sizes. They calculate every factor in the passing currents.

Its whatever though. As for the transition from ca to sc. **** is lovely. Couldn't be happier. You could get shacked down here all day. An overhead day for me at Black's is 8 times overhead to you so yea, you would be stoked. Someday we can go share the waves. All jokes aside.

But if u have the system down pact, congrats. Here in the dirty dirty, buoys tell the story. Period.

And 1.3 @ 8,is exavlty what I said. Waist high to me. Doh laying down. Fun for all and all for fun bro

. If there are no Santa anna s there are no offshore. Watch the next 6 months and report back. Don't post 1 videos out of an entire year.

Seriously. I'm not even messing with you. Don't YouTube Cali offshores. Research it! I mean it. Read articles about it. It is almost never offshore there. Sheet glass and offshore are different. Stop barking up my tree. If u don't believe me, have o e person from ca agree with you. Get one person on here to agree. I dare you.

    I'm not even being a ****
I'm being truthful. Its offshore almost never unless Santa Ana's are working. Just wiki how often that happens. Stop being a **** bro. Seriously.

If you thin California is offshore all the time you are ignorant.

I am flaborgasted at the cockmouth that you possess

The prevailing wind along the California coast is from the northwest owing to the normal location of the North Pacific High, a large area of high atmospheric pressure.

    Dude, you're owned go home.

Off shore wind is ANY wind that is blowing off into the ocean so you have clean waves. It doesn't have to be HARD offshore like that. Stop trying to comeback off your head up your ass statement. We were talking about florida and onshore slop. Cali is CLEAN every morning. Holy **** people on here

Dude, you've never been nice to me. You've dogged me and talked crap about bodyboarding interjecting yourself needlessly. It's like the guy who smiles in your face and then punches you in the face 5 minutes later. Everything has been passive aggressive.

SC > you. Again, go away. You are only here to argue. Don't be an Rtard and claim that you know the wind patterns of an area because you look at the forecasts on SI.
