    Aloha Amigos.

Been rippin' my Carver Knox for about a year now and as some of you can attest, really keeps the pipes greased during flat-spells and just super fun in general. Shredding flats is rad, helps your trim, cutbacks, snaps and power, what your upper body and arms should be doing and so forth. I've hit the Owls Head Bowl in Brooklyn which is ok but pretty crowded weekends and not open when I can skate. Brooklyn Banks is still dead I believe.

Where the hell can I find the below in any of the 5 Burroughs/NJ/LI? Anyone know? You'd think with all the f'n concrete in this city you'd find some wave like banks/features, but not a ton of luck.

Hall of records, go you must. The curator can point you in the direction of old drainage/water/etc infrastructure. I'm willing to bet you're going to find some serious gems.

    Yoda knows all.

I bet the old city drainage and water plans will be A+ for you.

Any one skating anything today? I'd take a 10' long concrete bank, thinking there maybe stuff in school playgrounds as well.

Bro I know 5 parks within an hour that have them. Also look for residential neighborhoods that have a slight downhill on a street with a driveway to one of the houses that sits on an incline. Makes a nice wide bowl/bank within itself. These are very common out west but I found one in my town here just two days ago. Go for drives and literally look for anything you can shred. It's out there.

Found a couple rad local spots to rip. Any NYC based pave rippers looking to get through this BS flatness, we should meet up and kill it!

Don't forget about Astoria Park. I've always wanted to have a skate meetup-bbq there:

Also there, if you want to get ambitious in the fall with a pump, is this gnar-gem. $50 to whoever drops in on the blue thing to the left. $100 if you bomb drop off the diving board.
