We were surfing Sunday and he tried to take me out. I ditched my board and dove down. I got my head out of the way, but his fin sliced my back. He cut a decent little slice in my wetsuit and my back has a mark where it hit. A friend of our's that we call Big Chief is fixing my suit. The hole is about 3 inches from top to bottom.
damn... your lucky you were wearing a suit. If you were in trunks you would have been in a lot worse shape.
It wasn't on purpose. He has on a shoulder high wave and going down line pretty quickly. I figured he would be way past me by the time the wave got to me, but he fell and the board turned right towards me. We paddled in and he kept saying how bad he felt. I knew he didn't mean to so no worries. Thanks Tbing.

Tell the chicks it was a shark attack. a buddy of mine had major knee surgery in HS and they wen't in thru the back of his calf....he's got about a 6 inch scar and some gnar scar tissue back there....it looks like a shark attack. but thats sick man...glad you are ok though.
