So I'm going thru the other vids. Cool Manta ray. then a scantily clad hussy under water dancing with a couple whales when, Bam the baby is skewered by a harpoon and drug on a jap murder vessel. The vid's title is Betrayal. I feel betrayed and violated. mainly because the puta didn't show anything.

 

Surfing was so much safer 20+ years ago when we were actively culling sharks and seals. Once we started "protecting" them, more human attacks have occurred.

The ocean was no more "healthier" back then than it is now. Sharks and seals haven't been proven to provide for a healthier ecosystem.

Time to start thinning the herd...but the stupid hot chick can stay.

And the shark culling comments are ridiculous. Just because we are humans does not give us the right to go out and murder other creatures because we think they are scary and therefore pose a threat to our population. Ridiculous. Think about the consequences of those types of actions.

i surf now and even further way back i surfed too and my gut feeling is that this is true.

 

Didn't want to "date" myself too much. Started surfing in '77. We were always aware, but the number of attacks weren't that big of an issue up until the late 90's.

I remember when a NorCal kneerider got literally split in half by a 20' GW in '79. It would still be a huge deal today, but it just happened so much less frequently.

 

see shes the real deal.not some idiot in body paint dancing around some sharks,and where was her snorkel,seems like the 1st girl can hold her breath for a real long time,especiaally dancing which burns most of the o2 out ur lungs.
culling sharks because they kill a few people a year,maybe we should start "culling" humans who are responsible for 99% of deaths in the world.make it even better lets "cull" the people in congress for not doing their job right.sharks don't bother anyone,they don't leave the water and crap on the beach or rob your conveinance store.they just swim in their home and eat whatevers available whether a turtle,seal,or your leg

 

The shark population was much higher back then... Has way more to do with the amount of peeps in the water compared to then.

Here's a theory: Maybe back in the day, when real outlaws and rebels dominated the surfing landscape, sharks had more respect for them, and didn't attack as much.

Theys was like, theys was all, " Oh he!! no, I ain't messing with that dude, he's a rebel."

But now, the sharks, they alls, theys like, " Man, these dudes out here are hobbyist, nancy-boys. I'm going to get me some of that. What they gonna do? Call their wife and investment banker?"
