real quick, putting the word out!! stolen in Ocean City Maryland from a condo unit while locked up. 1995 Root Beer Brown Trek 990 with Black Control Tech neck. This bike was mint with Green Alum accents. This bike is rare now and considered vintage. I am starting the process of informing everyone/bike shops nationally as well as bike forums and bike clubs. My goal is to at least get the Frame back intact and relatively undamaged. This is not the type of bike you can take into a bike shop and it not be noticed. The ones i have contacted so far have been super helpful. I have full receipt and serial number back in Salisbury. and will follow up with such as soon as possible as well as pictures. This bike was stolen between 2 am and 5:45 am in ocean city Maryland on the morning of the 14th of June.. police report was filed.. Any help would be welcome.
Once again this is not the type of bike to not be noticed and like old vintage Surfboards, hard to unload once the word gets out. If you see A bike that says Trek 990 and it is brown or there about,... it is mostly mine!
trek 990? you mean the one worth like 1000 bucks? Man, sorry for your loss. Ill keep an eye out for it.
