skate mainly at night with the phones...actually prefer night because of cars headlights...I know when something is coming from behind...during the day, Iam constantly looking over shoulder when carving. I take up alot of real estate when skating...just easier at night, unless Iam skating in town.

I would night skate in CA on a long board. Bombing hills and all that. But I would start up on a cross street, go a block or two and then go down a run through certain streets, but I would just "pass through". I never thought it was rude that I passed by any homes on a certain run. I think that it is a di** move if you are on the same street, skating back and forth over and over. Bikes pass through, motorcycles pass through, skatebaords pass through, but if you are riding around ollying and trying tail slide on the carver in the same general area, you may be asking for trouble. I wouldn't care, or say a thing...

But I just bought a house last fall. The guy at the end of my street is retired Army Ranger and others have speculated about his rage and paranoia. I saw him run out in the street at 11am and jump in the middle of the road because a teenager from down the street has a 300z with an exhaust system and all that. The kid was creeping in first gear at like 11am one day, going like 5 MPH, but he was in first and his exhaust was pretty loud. Anyway, my other neighbor just sprints out and haults this kid. The kids puts the window down and the guy is like "My 3 year old son is upstairs taking a NAP! You need to knock that sh** off!". The kids was shocked and was like, Im sorry dude....

Just saying, neighbors can get pissy about a lot of sh**. I would just creep in and out of different streets, making wider runs and not staying in any one, residential space.

I used to get neighbors calling my house when I would be out on my basketball court in my yard shooting hoops. Not even dribbling. Shooting threes. But the sound of a ball bouncing at 10am was enough to have people "outraged" ...

I'm over 30 now, so don't listen to me. I am just an old, out of touch dude, still holding on the the music of the 90s.

its cool to see u guys are still skating.i feel like skating is a dying breed and everyones turning into surfers.last time I skated was probably 9 yrs ago,i ollied down an 8 stair and almost broke my arm,it literally bent backwards but it came back lol.when I was a kid id be on my board from 10 am to 9 pm.i did just about everything u can do on a skateboard.i remember having a blank deck in my basement,no wheels or grip, and id practice my tricks like that.worked well too.id skate if I had the time but im too busy nowadays.i don't get home til 5,now is my smoking time and later I order food,i got a busy schedule lol.I skated with some real good people, wish I knew surfers that could surf as good as these dudes skated.

Waves are such a limited resource. Even if you get surf most days of the week the wave can be so different and dynamic. With skating you literally can work the same identical transition, ramp, rail, etc. ad nauseam. Skaters do some crazy shhit. Where you live at Cepriano?
