I think you don't understand my intent yank...having them create another thread allows others who are interested in the topic to participate...why keep the banter within this particular thread when not related and have only those who post here regularly read and participate. Further...posts like this are wastes as it creates the possibility for multiple types of these threads in the future... As for associating me with Wayne...really?! Come on...
Again you site gov sources.i don't trust the gov but you do. Live4truth is right and there will be bias from both sides. And you agree that there are risks with vaccines making them not completely safe. That risk I am not willing to take. I don't believe that in a so called free country that I should be forced to do anything, especially if it is potentially harmful.
These aren't only government sources. These are peer reviewed research papers, and I even included a study from Poland. What you mean to say is when the data disagrees with your own opinion, you will look for another way to be correct in your own mind. Again, I don't care what you personally do. What I do care about is spreading pseudoscience and misinformation, which what you do when you post links to cherry picked data or misread studies. The fact remains that a lot more people are surviving deadly disease throughout the world thanks to vaccines. As for side effects, there is a possibility for side effects due to complication or allergies with everything you put into your body. That includes foods (plants and veggies, along with proteins), herbal remedies, and even vitamins. It isn't like it is being covered up. The CDC posts it up for all to see: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vac-gen/side-effects.htm The population is safer taking a chance of 1 in a million (MMR severe complication risk), versus actually contracting the disease (1:10 cases of measles leads to permanent hearing loss, 1:1000 children will die). I don't care if someone wants to risk their own health, but stop trying to persuade others to do the same. The antivax movement has already cost lives, and it needs to end quickly.
According to my wife, the organic free range dairy milk tastes better. I don't like to drink milk, so I can't comment on that. I would rather spend a little more to support more intelligent and humane farming techniques.
See my last post. At least in coastal SC, organic milk is Cheaper than regular... Who knew? I didn't until last week when I started buying it. And the expiration date far exceeded the regular milk, leading me to believe that this milk is from a farm more local source, since the regular milk probably spent half of its shelf life in transit. It also somewhat debunked the misconception that I have about organic products breaking down too quickly and not having a decent shelf live. And dude, I shelled out some extra coin for the grass-fed free range filet mignons yesterday. So delicious.
I did the same for a 13.5 lb brisket last week. Smoked 16hrs and served at a party. Some of my best work. It was only like a dollar more than the regular briskets at the chain stores.
Lets get the record straight. In no way have I suggest or tried to persuade anyone to not get vaccinated. I gave you a link to nearly 3 dozen peer reviewed scientific studies that contrdict the cdc's report. You respond with 3 gov reports, a study from Poland, and 2 magazine articles whose authors were prob paid to write by pro vaccine peeps. You can believe a gov that has lied about the cause about the Vietnam war, WMDs in Iraq, sponsored coups in other countries, behind the assaination of MLK, etc. it's your choice and I don't care about it either. To say people who choose to not vaccinate is puting the rest of the world at risk is an opinion that cannot be proven with epidemiological charts. There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics. - Benjamin Disraeli "Talked politics, scandal, and the three classes of witnesses - liars, damned liars, and experts.” - T.H. Huxley
Why does everyone think it's the "government" that lies? It's people that lie, it's human nature. So by understanding that people not organizations lie how can you believe any of these studies, reoprts, etc? Not picking a side just wondering how folks choose to believe so strongly in some statistics or reoprts and not others? My opinion is anyone I do not know personally and cannot see their face while they are telling me something that I do not already know as fact, I take at what it is, their opinion. If you guys are geneticists, doctors, or other trained experts on these subjects then I am sure you can decipher what is truth from lies but I sure as hell can't. I have not read any of the links or novels you guys have posted since I am not a doctor, scientist or whatever and most likely could not know for sure if what they say is BS or not plus I really don't care about what the doctors and such say about foods and diet since every time something is said to be good then later it is bad and vice versa. Remember when eggs were bad, then good, then bad, then good again? Just like this forum and everything else in life the key is moderation!
Thanks for thinking of me. Sounds like your wife has good taste! I have some humane meat that I would be willing to share with her, feel free to PM. Same goes for the rest of you guys!
Bull****. You gave a link to one poorly used study that was already covered in a previous article. It didn't present 3 dozen studies that go against what the cdc said. That study compared the findings from 16 other studies specifically looking at the mercury containing additive in vaccines (which has been taken out of most children's vaccines). It was a preliminary study and was supposed to be a 2 part study. The antivaxxers didn't care to read into this and just ran with it. Anyways, it all comes out now. Everyone who disagrees with your bad science is a paid shill. That is why you should have just stopped long ago. I know you don't care to see any data.
I consider myself a scientist, but only because I spent 3 years working in a chem lab. However, the people researching and releasing vaccines are much more intelligent than I am. I have a friend who does this for a living, and she specifically focuses on diseases that are on the level of global outbreaks. To claim that there is a global conspiracy within the medical and scientific community to hide tons of harmful side effects from vaccines is just ignorant. This isn't a group of politicians trying to make money or take power away from another leader. These are thousands of medical and scientific professionals focused on eradicating diseases. It is an insult when lesser educated people spread BS about this stuff causing diseases and other disorders. There is a real issue in this country, and it is called pseudoscience. It is populated by people that believe all vaccines are harmful, all jets spray us with chemicals, and even stuff as silly as reptilians controlling the world governments. Thanks to the internet, these people have a voice and can manipulate others into believing the same crap. Paranoia is more harmful than anything out there right now. It lead to a mass shooting just a couple weeks ago. And it isn't going to end there. As people like Alex Jones, Mercola, and Natural News profit off the fear of the gullible, they also feed into these fears. I am just hoping I am no where near the next person to crack. The **** I read on Facebook would give you chills. Crazies talking about shooting at military vehicles because they think it is the NWO coming to get them. The antivaxxer thing is just one piece to the whole conspiracy theorist puzzle, and it harms the innocent children the most. All I am doing is countering the BS with data and information. I am sure that will not be accepted by those that are already off the deep end, but I am hoping it will slow down the spread of bad science. This is the real danger behind the growing antivaxxer movement: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/24913790/
if you had scrolled to the bottom of the page all the studies were linked for review. its not my bad science its just you want scientific proof so I try to provide some. other than that I really don't give a shyt what science has to say. I use common sense. if someone wants to stick me with a needle and tell me "its ok sonny it wont hurt you" I tell them to fuk off. especially if its the gov. you see I had a some what fortunate life. straight A student from a middle class single parent until things went bad when I was fourteen when suddenly I was homeless and left to fend for myself on the streets . ive seen my fair share of shyt go down and learned who to trust and not to trust. I pulled my way out and made a good life for myself all the while being beat down by the system. so you can have your opinions about me and call me crazy and say I need help, but the fact is you don't even know me to have an opinion.
I wasn't directing that towards you or Archy just saying I can't understand any of that stuff. I figured you understood it since you seem to counter Archy with articles and links instead of hate like I do my enemies . And I get annoyed at all the conspiracy nuts who say the Govt puts crap in vaccines to make us shop at Christmas and all the other crap they say. Vaccines have helped the world tons and I think are a good thing.
I read though the studies briefly, but they are summarized as part of the main study in that link. Just picking one of the studies in your link and found that it was disallowed after the author used poor methodology and misdiagnosis of patients: http://quackfiles.blogspot.com/2005/03/mark-geier-untrustworthy-autism.html?m=1 And this is a big conflict of interest: Geier the son owns a company called MedCon (surely an ironically named corporation) whose business is to help people sue vaccine corporations. Besides that, they still fail to explain why autism rates are almost the same despite mercury being removed from most infant vaccines. Then there is this: http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn7076#.U6idOYm9LCQ Also: INCREASE IN AUTISM DUE TO CHANGE IN DEFINITION, NOT MMR VACCINE 15 January 2005 A study from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota has found that changes in the definition of autism – rather than the use of the MMR vaccine – led to increased diagnosis of autism in the United States and probably in Europe. The prevalence of autism increased more than eightfold in the United States, from 5.5 per 100,000 children in 1980-3 to 44.9 per 100,000 in 1995-7. British Medical Journal
yeah I just gotta laugh at 20 pages back and forth with you brudude. my head hurts and if I add up all the time spent reading and typing I realize what a waste of precious time it was for me. i'm calling quits. not that I agree with shootin shyt into someone cuz honestly if you or I were to put some of the adjuvants into a syringe at the recommend safe levels and shot our kids up we would go to jail. but somehow its ok for a doctor to do it. you know my stance and I know yours. vaccines, food, evolution, hahaha wtf what a stupid ride. uugghhh. i'm out
And if you cut your child open for a liver transplant when his/her liver is failing, you would go to jail. However, when a doctor does it, it is ok and will save the kid's life. See ya later.
