Hey, i know i prolly shouldnt ask this on here but does anybody know the rip risk tomorrow n surf city nc i cant find out from anybody what it is.
I am not sponsered by them but im good friends with all of there team riders and owner george.... I am just kinda put there name out by riding with onshore stickers on my board
cant you just look at the ocean and see the "rip risk"?? you should be able to if you plan on going out in it. currents, rips, wind lines, all things you, as a "surfer", should know how to spot out/recognize.
will your mom only let you go out after you give her the rip forecast? if you don't even know why that's a dumb question you should stay on the beach. and who the fck at a surf shop needs to know if there is going to be rip current danger. anyone worth 2 schits is actually looking for one to dry hair paddle out. Be sure to check out the semi-floating staircase and piling forecast too. They'll fck u up way worse than a rip could any day.
at on shore surf shop we favor on shore winds and choppy conditions. Beware of rip currents they are scary anomalies like black holes, if you paddle into one you never come out.
