Nice. Sounds sick. I checked the cams up there not too long ago, even with the lower tide it looked really good. I will be up there Saturday, just in time for it to flatten back out.

Maryland gonna be good late tomorrow. Cat 2, 100 MPH winds, moving just far enough off shore to hit em with offshores late in the afternoon.

I am going to make the call to head south or east in the morning.Fortunately, from my location I can easily get to Jersey or the Delmarva within 2 hours.A little concerned with the 16 period swell with a certain breaks ability to handle the longer periods...12 seconds is ideal for my typical location..7ft @ 12 seconds SE will be reminiscent of TS Danielle from 3 years ago, which if anyone else remembers brought well over head bombs. If only Arthur was 500 miles off of the coast..

Can't see anyone on the beach or in the water on the cams, but Ocean City MD looks like its cleaned up a bit and turned offshore. Waves looking good. hard to tell on a cam with no one on the beach to scale it, but I would say chest to head. Grey skies, but clean surf. I would say in a couple hours the weather will be clean up there and things should be money for the day.

Here is hoping. Thanks for updates as it was moving up. We'll see how it shapes up, still tricky to tell.

I'm waiting till about 2, I have a feeling the afternoon is going to be really good.

N winds are pretty stiff, looking like they should shift NW later afternoon, early evening.

I just mentioned this to you in the other thread, but there are a bunch of guys out in the water right now, so don't worry about the guards. I can see them on the cams. Look at the Malibu cam. If I was up there and was available, I would be on it right now and ride it our as long as it lasted. Not sure what the tide is doing up there, but it looks bigger now than an hour ago. Looks VERY fun. Wish I was up there. I just called my Dad and told him to get his ass to the beach and get in the water. He is up in Bethany.

Finally saw a guy get a wave on the cam so I could put it to scale. It's at LEAST a few feet over head I would say. That onshore wind is ripping. Guy dropped into a huge wedge but straightened out and didn't try and go for the barrel. Top to bottom, there is some real size there now.

And that N wind is already offshore. The North gets super strong right before the bottom band of wind hits you and goes the right direction. I think as the storm continues to move and the wind lightens up, it would be much better, but that wind is no longer from the North. I would expect westerly winds throughout the rest of the day. Might get briefly crossed up and the wind completely leaves the area.

so far VB SUX. Storm came too close to shore and at a glancing blow. Just checked it again at 11:00 and

The best set I saw was chest high, wrapped in lycra, and jogging down the boardwalk.

CB was fun on the incoming tide. I was out waaay too early (5:45 on the a.m. dial) so had to sit thru thigh high morning sickness. it really turned into a fun (but crowded )wave about 9. by then I was starving and over the groms and had to call it.

About 3-4 feet this morning on LI. Light offshores. It got fairly crowded but I was able to find a peak with just a few guys. Lots of really good waves. Atleast the best Iv had in awhile. Great day, waves plus my surfing was on point today. Been on cloud 9 since my first wave this morning

Only time will tell how tomorrow is going to be, supposed the be offshore in the 25-30 range I believe.

BassMon great to hear bro. I'm hoping for a similar sesh tomorrow. Today has been 0-fer round these parts. No punch or any size yet even though winds are great.
