Pretty much brew, in regards to the Bible...The Council of Nicea was 325AD I believe, and that's when what got in was chosen.

I kinda get off on the idea of ghosts watching me bate it.

    Haha. So true...

Yeah, I'm not going one way or the other. I have spent a lot of time in Savannah, the self proclaimed most "haunted city in the world"... And I have been to the old homes that are haunted... They all have one thing in common. People were murdered there. Many of the places revealed corpses in the walls and bone fragments.... But to me, those are just crime scenes. I have also been in Edgar Allen poes house. Just a creepy old row home in the projects. No dead bodies in the basement.

It is what it is. I mean, before Jesus' time, people prayed to many "gods" for many things. They thought that they weather and world were controls by deities... I understand why... As wrong as they may have been.....

I mean, aside from the unbelievable factors in religion, the thing that always debunked things more than anything to me, was the immense differences in different cultural believes. Allah. Buddah. Jesus. So many masses of people claim to understand the truth and it is all so wrong and different.

As I have said before, I always thought religion was the first form of government. Without it, we would rape, pillage and murder each other without consequence. Because man will not fear or obey man by nature. What better way to control people by taking their money and giving them a genuine fear of the after life. It was very well played by many.

Men have done very food things and very bad things all in the name of their gods...

    So, I feel you there.

If nothing more, Jesus was a profit and did a lot of good for man kind. But the reality of it, who knows.

It is just so interesting to me, how powerful that force can be for people. Whether it's all in their own heads or not. I like many, have family members, mostly older, who have passed away with a smile on their face, "knowing" that they are going to heaven and all that. So, regardless of the truth, it is a scary powerful force. And to see people close to you, very well educated and who have lived very noble lives, its so interesting to see how strong their faith is. Never waivers. It almost makes you a little jealous, like, man, I wish I understood what they understand, if for nothing more than piece of mind...

The rest of us just have to look forward to nothing but turning into fertilizer.

Sounds like you could start a new fetish vacation idea. Offer alone time in top haunted locations. Ghosts are the ultimate voyeurs.
