That video almost made my eyes bleed. Probably should have picked a surfable wave. Home boy on the pink board at the end did a couple interesting things, but pigdog, knee dropping into a closeout 25 times in a row? I am not so sure what that video was trying to showcase, or if it was just a joke. I watched it with no Audio....

Although among your self-cockiness-im-cooler-than-them-because-i-can't-have-fun attitude, it was pretty sick on my part.

I just read that 5 times and have no idea what that statement means, aside from calling me an as$hole. 10/4 on that though.

Here this should sound better: Among your self-cockiness-i'm-cooler-than-them-because-i-can't-have-fun-attitude type opinion on the vid, I think it was pretty.

I like to think I am a fun guy. But a bunch of lifestyle pros, mocking soft-tops in a shorebreak was funny when Jamie Obrien did it the first time about 10 years ago. Guess the joke is just over my head.

Disclaimer: I wasn't getting on you for posting the video. It was entertaining. They are mocking "soft tops". Taking out taboo wave riding vehicles into an unsurfable spot, filming it and putting it on youtube seems pretty "Cocky-im-cooler-than-you" kind of video....

Basically like all the crappy, arrogant videos that Jamie Obrien has been making for ever. You know, him and his boys, ruining a perfectly good day at pipeline by dropping in with inner tubes and blow up dolphins... Its basically "Im so cool, and I live at pipeline, and I am bored, so I am going to do a bunch or retarded sh** and put it on you tube".....

If they made a video of them charging actual waves, doing interesting things on soft tops, I would be far more interested....

This video is the equivalent of a bunch of pro skaters putting on roller blades in downtown philly and grinding everywhere with thongs on....

If this video was a joke, it's mocking soft tops. I know, soft tops are lame, but so are people that are out mocking them, because "They are so cool".

    ya feel me?

But like I said, it sounds to me like I just don't get it....

Either way, nice post. Just my arrogant opinion.

If I thought I could paddle one of these out at a summer blackball spot and not get chased out by the local lifeguards, I would buy one today.

BTW: my favorite "soft top" in that vid had a black top and a blue bottom.

haha, now cmon! I'm allowed the occasional heckle...so where are the pics? I love my soft top. took a hatchet to my side fins so i would only have one tiny one in the middle. its fun as hell that way and easy to 360. sadly i think it blew away during Arthur. yup, it seems Arthur blew my softie

That was my starter board, except mine was a very older model. Great board to start on.

i have to disagree on the job thing.yea most of his vids are pretty retarded, but hes done some amazing shyt on a soft top, like board transfer in a triple overhead barrel at pipe, charging big jaws on soft tops.i personally think that's awesome and would love to get one of those catch surf boards.its all about having fun.

jamies at the top of the pecking order at pipe,he can chum there on the epic day of the year and get away with it.i would do the same if I was him.u got a world class wave in your backyard, literally, and everytime u want to surf theres 400 people out there.most people are trying to survive and hes just having fun

Just got the same board for my son. I tried it for ****s and giggles. Its super buoyant. I weigh 230 and when it was waist I caught waves on it. Ive got a 6ft twin fin fish (previously the smalles board ive ever ridden) and I think it was more buoyant than that board.
