So, I thought this would be much easier than it is. We put a lot of weight on new member's first post/comment. I wanted to go back to 09' and dig up my first post. I have no idea what it was, but I was curious to see what I had said. Did I read a thread that I wanted to comment on, so I started an account? Did I make a "Hi, I am Zach619 thread", or did I just sneak in and post a surf report.... Well, can't seem to figure out how to isolate the first post. The date search ranges only go back a year. There is a link for "find latest posts"... But nothing that says, see all posts or anything.... You dudes know how to pull up a brother's first post? I thought if I could find mine and post it, the thread could be interesting and some other cats could dig up their welcome posts. Anyone?
Not sure if it goes back that far...I remember mine was when I was compelled to jump into a discussion on sharks...think I actually clashed w/ the hunter in that thread.

Classic. I guarantee that mine wasn't that classy. I do remember that I posted WAY less frequently when I lived out west and there was a solid year or two that I probably was on here twice. That was when my daughter was born and all that. But I can't for the life of me remember what my first post was.... Trying to shake out the cob webs, but I think what made me join this forum, was when surfingoc.com shut down. I used to keep up with the homies back in OC MD on that site when I lived in San Diego. One day, it just went away, and I called a buddy and said what gives and he told me about this place. Maybe my first post was a "WTF happened to surfingoc.com"?
Not sure of my first post, but the first thread where I engaged in battle was the NOYA thread. I was the Earl of Funk/Duke of Cool back then. Publicly changed my name when I realized I was no longer funky or cool.
I have been contemplating a slight name change, what with my new location and all, but haven't had the nuts to pull the trigger.
Haha. I searched for my own name, the furthest back it would show is Aug 2009, but it was just threads that I started. Read a few of them to see what I sounded like back in my 20s.... I forgot that in 2009, I had been researching and planning to move to Wrightsville or Carolina Beach.... I had a bunch of posts asking cats about the area... Ohh how times have changed.

top right, advanced search. search by user name, i organized it by date, click all categories.... I clicked back to the final page and bam, January 2009. That was my first post. At least I introduced myself and wasn't a d-bag until probably my second thread.
