Somewhere in coastal So Calif, maybe Ventura area. Looks very similar anyway. Used to live there. CA license plates, residential architecture and landscaping, light brown slump stone walls, concrete-lined drainage ditches, eucalyptus trees.
I didn't surf when I lived there. According to SI, water is 69. Usually cool, late afternoon onshore winds unless warm offshore Santa Ana winds are blowing.
I knew it was in socal, just didn't know where cuz of what Hayduke said. I wish I had drainage like that in my town.
