After a great week of LB & SUP surfing, I had a very sad surprise Saturday (7/26) morning when I went to load up the car to return home from a family vacation and my surf SUP was gone. It is a Red top/Black deck pad Angulo 9' Surfa model (5 fin boxes) with serial number (AN10SU90FR12010002), set up as a quad when it was stolen. We were staying on Sandfiddler Road (~3 blocks from the market). My brother's Trident paddle with orange blade was also taken. I've attached some pictures in case anyone hears or sees anything. I'd really appreciate if y'all keep your eyes out for it.

If it is found (or the perpetrator would like to come clean), please take it the Sandbridge Community Chapel, 3041 Sandpiper Road, "no questions asked". I have locals/friends in the area that will help return the board back to me.

Thanks in advance to those in the area on the lookout.

The family lives in that area. I'll keep an eye out when I'm down there. Did you send this to sandbridge eco sports? If not, you should.

Sorry to hear this...we had 3 SUPs stolen from KelzKids (SUP camps and aquatic programs for children with Autism and Down's Syndrome) Some nice person in Portsmouth donated 3 to our cause.

You could get your friends to put up a flyer at the Sandbridge Market too. I think they have a place for things like that by the front entrance

Yes. Very nice board. I was really comfortable with it in all conditions (clean to chop, shin to OH)... I had the balance dialed in well ..it was like an extension of my body. Hopefully I will get it back.

Always happens to the good guys too, so many losers in the world, it sucks. I know you must of put in some time on that board to get it dialed in, I can tell by looking at it it's no beginner board.

Thanks bro', but no need. I found the board on CL this afternoon, called the police, and they made an arrest and retrieved the board. Kudos to them! A local friend is picking my board and storing it for me so all is good. Hallelujah!

Thanks for all those on SI that expressed well wishes and concerns.

Looks like I have a road trip or two in the near future!

That's AWESOME Capecodcdog! Glad to hear you are getting it back. Consider yourself fortunate, very few every retrieve their stolen items, I had my mountain bike taken right off my screened patio. Cops didn't seem to care much.

Indeed. For reason's I don't completely comprehend, someone's got my back. And I also appreciate the way the surfing community responded. I am truly grateful.

That's great news 3CD! Saw a red and white SUP while I was out off Dam Neck this evening. Thought of your situation. Paddled closer and saw that it had red rails, white top, and the guy was using an all-black paddle.
    Glad it turned up.

I have docks locks. Definitely worth the 50 bucks I paid for the peace of mind i have when leaving the board for extended periods...
