Invest 94 pops up today.... I feel like it meets all the criteria. but I could be wrong...
its far far far away, has hardly a chance to develop, no way to tell which way it will track....

Go longboard, or skate, or dive, or something thats more fun than posting. Thats what I would be doing if I lived near the ocean not 2 hours away.

From what Iv seen it looks like dry air is going to choke this one out. That being said, hype it up. Nothing wrong with being excited/positive about another possible storm. With how fun this summer has been I have high hopes.

Yeah, a nice surprise really early: thigh high with occasional sets waist high. Really thought it would be even smaller than yesterday. Probably gone by now though...hope that wasn't you ai accidentally dropped in on. Sometimes I am worse than a kook

Glad you got out there Betty, I doubt it was me you dropped in on though, I found a spot all to myself up by PAFB at sunrise during high tide, then drove South 5 minutes to my low tide spot to finish off the morning, had to check out at Noon. Got some long knee to waist lines when the tide started pulling. My 8'1" McTavish was eating them alive. At that time it was just me and some lady out there, lots of sand people just sitting, laying, playing, fishing, but none of them surfed. Were you up that way or down South?

South. A guy where I swim laps has been telling me to try Paradise Park. He's from Jersey and said it's the best on the east coast. Sounds like it might be a big paddle out though, but maybe not. My friend has a McTavish-- what a great board! It sure sounds like you had a great day! It should hold you through the work week :)

I wasn't far from there, best on the E. Coast is a matter of opinion but this one place nearby has been my favorite this past year or so. You should try it out. I got a couple other spots i could PM you. Good to have options, it was amazing the different conditions between two spots just 5 minutes apart. Night and Day.

brevard county has so many breaks, parks, streets to surf it is amazing

imho you are right dpsup, they can be quite different: outside break, shore break, rocks you cant see, no rocks, crowd, no crowd, sand bars or not, etc

from patrick to mel beach there are many breaks that don't get alot of recognition.... and thats good

sorry to jack your conversation with betty, carry on

Yeah exactly dude, you know what's up. Not hijacking, jump right in! I tried a new spot today before my regular go-to and it was a nice change of pace, best part was it was just me and a couple people fishing. It was one of the few spots that was breaking on a full tide within a 20 minute drive. Once I noticed tide was shifting I knew it was time to switch breaks.
