background swells showing on th buoys, but Its looking kind of weak this morning in maryland. just a note on the background swell - the tides generally make a big difference, where incoming is usually key.

 Yeah it was a bit weak in OC, but I was on it at 7:30, and it was still real fun... glassy with a definate waist to stomach coming in occ. The type of swell where if you know your break real well you could sit back and wait for the beauties, but if you miss, you may have to wait a while for a gem to come back through. Thanks for the tip on the early am sesh!!!

    Wednesday Report?

Anyone got a mid-town OCMD report for Wednesday? Was there an increase with the incoming tide after 10? I am trying to decide if I should blow off work tomorrow - which just happens to be my birthday :) - to come down for a session on the incoming tide.

Hey Carson... I can tell you this much. This morning was real good, so if it keeps up, I say go for it. Plus it's your birthday??? Man, thats two good reasons to have some fun. Hope you get some!

Swellinfo, Too me, after looking at the maps and all, it seems like it should be nice with the wind and period swell. Do you think we could get a little more power behind the wave? Thats what it seems like to me, but I don't know if I'm right or wrong.

Well worth the trip down. Got some real nice waves in mid-town. There were even a few chest high sets early on the incoming tide.
