Bertha Swell Vs. Today's Swell...

    I wonder if the same number of ding-dongs will surf today like they did during the "peak" of the Bertha swell. It should be about the same size and clean later on today, if all goes well.

    This swell already looks bigger here. It will be clean all day and definitely more makeable waves than Bertha. The short period hopefully denies paddle outs by the summer pros.

    I can't wait to get out of work, checking the cams is not a good idea for me right now, making the minutes feel even slower. Seldom and Sniffer, I feel your pain from last week now. As soon as I'm out of this cube farm I'm going to be in the water so quick. Hoping I can still get some good ones with the evening incoming tide

    comparing a long period ground swell to a short period windswell is like comparing oranges to apples. yea they're both fruit but they're not the same.

    just surfed, got drug almost to mystic. Rivermouth was firing

    did alot of good duckdives, may have even gotten a over the falls in. Cant remember, lots of seaweed. ya dig?

    OCNJ cam looked as good as I have seen since replenishment. nice peaks and decent lines. i am dying since i am working but at least got 8+ hrs last Wed for Bertha. Is it me or does it seem that the best days for the past year in jerz have been wednesday? sux.

    yeah the cams looked like it was firing earlier this morning, got a little wonky with the high tide right now but as long as it sticks around through tonight and tomorrow we should both score some jewels!

    I literally just said this to my buddy last night, it's the summer of epic wednesdays haha
