Here's a fun one from yesterday. It spit right before the backwash swallowed me up. Great day on Delmarva, perfect little SE fetch.
classic "should have been here yesterday" no question that yesterday after work > this morning before work, but this morning was undoubtedly enough to get through the workday with a smile.
I was thinking the same thing. The waves yesterday evening were perfect. I actually have to buy plane tickets to S.America to catch waves like that with warm weather/water. The best part is that it wasn't really crowded. The drift kept most people spread out and away from the peak.
Why yes I did, thanks for asking. This morning was f-ing awesome. Best swell I have been in in months. Just the crew and some other guys down on the next peak over. Just trading waves in glassy off shore conditions. Why cant we have this wonderfulness like 3-4 days a week? Is that too much to ask?
For the east coast, yes. Sadly for us days like yesterday are fairly common in many parts of the world.
yep. Bodyboarded the Shorey at high tide, and took out the surfboard on low tide. Here's another one.
Less gopro, more imagination.. Anyway, so many out of towners were in such a rush to make Bertha swell, so much usual bull**** hype...only to miss this front which brought better stuff anyway. Made the whole thing so much better. Shoulda, coulda.. The fact that is not business as usual on EC makes these swells special and less likely to be packed.
I also think that this swell/storm mixed with the super moon may have fixed or at least changed many breaks that were affected by Sandy/restoration in the past couple of years. Not sure if many of your beaches are even affected by that but Cape May certainly is, but it seemed almost like old times again
