per the pyongyang times it's always overhead and offshore, particularly when the dear leader paddles out.
I don't think N Korea has 1550 mile eastern coastline. That may be the aggregate total of east and west, and most of that is due to the irregular nature of the coast, which may facilitate some interesting surf breaks. However one big problem looks like Japan would block major ocean swells, thus it appears that any swell events would occur only from weather activity in the Sea of Japan.
i read an article in surfermag somewhere that said there is some great potential for surfing north korea. people have been scouting out breaks on google earth and said there are some epic looking point breaks when theres waves... id be in.
Did you ever read the golf article they published? About how 10 security team members witnessed him shoot like 35 under par on 18 holes. They claimed that he had like 9 hole in ones, including on on a par 4 and a double eagle on a par 5. They said it was his first time ever touching a gold club. One of the funniest things I have read in a while. Classic. With 10 "witnesses".
Yeah man! What's funny though is the place will be completely over in 10 years. The population is slowly but surely becoming more aware of the "real world", fact, and fiction. It was much easier to kep a strangle hold on the population in his dads day.
Not sure how I missed this thread...this would be fantastic. I hear korean girls are into 'Merican dudes. I'm in.
