    Down here in NC looking at pics from Arthur up in NJ specifically some Belmar goodness---Everyone seems to have a fullsuit on-

    What gives? Temps? Jellyfish? Honestly ignorant and very curious-

    It really comes down to this- fashion. It's the new thing, all the latest fashion trends start in Belmar. Think about it- when was the last time you stopped in Dunkin donuts and the guy in front of you had a wetsuit on, casually waiting in line... Well it's an everyday experience in Belmar- everyone is doing it... Next will be NYC... Then your local break.

    Water temp was low to mid 70's all day. Boardshorts for two sessions totaling over 8 hours in the water from morning to dusk.. Not saying i'm "tough" just saying some guys just like wetsuits.. But they were absolutely not mandatory, water was plenty warm.

    Alright now Spicoli you need to catch another one in your van before class! Your's was correct too I just missed clicking the reply with quote on it.

    As for HOTY 2014 I think Yankee is so far ahead I would have to do a bunch of bath salts and eat some members before I could catch him! I've been too damn mellow lately without Roy, Chucky and Shart Humper to anger me.

    Not during Arthur. You might be mixing up your swells.
    There was a massive upwelling right before Arthur swell due to south winds. Water was down in the 60s.
