I know...first post and it has nothing to do with surfing. Any hunters here? If there are....where do you hunt?....what do you hunt?....Archery?...Guns?...babes?...and so on. Feel free to post any harvests during the upcoming seasons. I hunt Southeastern Pa. Turkey, deer, and rabbit. One more month for early season archery here! Even if you hate hunting, please post.
Were you raised and then abandoned, by spicoli, dill pickle? Go back to your Pennsyltucky cave. #hunting gnomes for the coast
four decades plus a water fowler. just (now) starting to branch out; joined a 2000 acre hunting club in sojersery. my kid wants to do turkey w/bow....
Grew up hunting and fishing. Too many hobbies. Haven't gone in a few years. Archery and black powder for deer mostly. My parents have an incredible piece of property in West Virginia where we go.
In my head I hunt to eat every single day. In reality I have never killed an animal intentionally, I have caught fish but I suck at that too, and I find myself at the supermarket with the rest of america
Deer mostly, some ducks. I lease land up on the Eastern Shore of VA. Really got into muzzle loading a few years back, and that's pretty much all I do now.
Used to hunt everything, every season. Now that I have kids I don't have as much time, so we only hunt pheasant/quail and grouse. I have two young but excellent bird dogs and am really looking forward to this season. I fish regularly. Living 3 blocks from the beach, and working on Sandy Hook gives me plenty of opportunities.
Try this http://www.arrowds.com/guillotine/guillotine.htm it's the gobbler guillotine, watch the turkey video... not for the faint of heart.
What kind of dogs, LBCrew? I have a Brittany I purchased from a breeder down in south Jersey. Need to get him out on birds more often. Pretty suburban where I live. A few pieces of public land close by but they are very small and surrounded by busy roads. That thought of him getting lost or hit by a car is always in my head. And my family would never forgive me coming home without him.
Very nice. The Magnus Bullhead is another nice broadhead for turkey. There are some videos of it in action on youtube as well.
I'll be hunting coldies at about 4:45 today and aim to drop 8-10. Might hunt a Jameson small one or two depending on how the coldie hunting goes.
Same as the others above that used to do a lot more hunting (birds and small game) but life has gotten in the way. Now it's just plant destroying squirrels from my back door. In high school I would run a trap line over xmas break to pay for my spring break surf trips.
