The front of my traction pad was starting to peel up. Cleaned it up a bit and sprayed some 3M Super 77 under it and it seems to be holding well. Anyone else have any experience with this and how well it might hold over the long term?

Same thing happened to me, I figured out it was because the Dakine logo is made from a separate piece of rubber and inserted into a hole cut from the top of the traction pad on the center piece. So after using that stuff and it coming back up when in the water, I figured out that if I cut off the top inch of that piece of the pad it solved the problem. The pad isn't coming up anymore and it doesn't hurt my foot placement, actually been surfing better with it like that

That's right where mine started peeling. I'll see if the 3M holds-if not I'll cut that top portion off. Did you take an inch off the whole middle section or did you cut the logo out and seal it back down?

I cut the entire inch off the center piece but left the side pieces so it has a little nook where I plant my foot sometimes
