Lol behind the times. Take away last season's injury nightmare and the previous 5 years he's one of the winningest coaches in the NFL. The Falcons' success is alive and well. That's hilarious you're putting the Eagles on the same level of Atlanta. At least you're optimistic.
Haha, I would take that all day. Last year was the first time the ravens missed the playoffs in 6 years. So everyone is sleepiing on them right now. We were still one win away from the playoffs last year, after losing 2/3 of our superbowl squad. I had a really close friend that was the most die hard Seahawks fan in the world when I lived on the west coast, so I was happy that they won, just so that one dude could be stoked out of his mind for like 6 months straight. And his wife was a Cowboys fan. This year is going to be great. I was VERY impressed with our squad in the preseason. I love all the moves we made this year. I think Smith Jr. is going to have a Boldin type year for us. Aside for the whole Ray Rice situation, we are looking great. Bernard Pierce looks way better than rice as of late anyway.... I know I am being an optimistic fan right now, be we have gotten into a winning culture in Baltimore and that is the expectation and the norm. I am excited to get back to an elite level. There is no better feeling that to take out the Steelers, or the Pats in the playoffs. So rewarding. So very rewarding... And man, I am holding my breath as a O's fan. Every game that goes by, I am checking on off this list. At this pace, we may have locked up the division a week or so from now. We have the 2nd best record in all of baseball and looking at home field throughout.. I mean, what is this the 80s? I won't believe it till it's October. If things go the way they should, I will be up in Baltimore for a couple days for sure.
This statement proves you know nothing about either team. Preventing injuries is part of the game, its probably the most important part of the game today. Next to the Seahawks, the Eagles will be the most dominant. Atlanta will be lucky to win 8 games.
You think Nick Foles is the truth though? Or was he a one hit wonder now that they have a year of tape on him? The eagles always show up every year, but I have no clue what to make of that NFC east. Dallas will go 8-8. The skins could go 3-13 or 12-4, who knows. And New York, man, same deal. Could go either way IMO.
And man, in my opinion, I think Dome's should be removed from the NFL all together. I feel like ATL, INDY and NO and other have SUCH a huge advantage. Playing half their games, with no wind, no elements, perfect amounts of crowd noise... I just think ATL has an advantage before the year even starts. Matt Ryan can air it our to White and Jones all day in dead wind.... Makes for a pretty easy lifestyle. Especially if you get home field advantage in the playoffs.
As long as Chip is running the show, Foles should be pretty good. Hell, Chips offense has made Sanchez look unstoppable this preseason.
Yeah, Chip Kelly changed football. All football. College will never be the same again. I expect him to shake things up again with some super progressive thinking this year. I am not an eagles fan one bit, but I'll give you that, Kelly is one of the top football minds out there. He is like a non-cheating version of Bill Belichick.
Don't forget Glendale. I saw Atlanta play the Cards out there last year. It's actually a phenomenal place and this year's SB site.
This ones for you Spicoli…good luck with your teams everyone! Except the freakin cowboys...
Yeah, it's strange. There is only one AFC dome (INDY). The NFC has the rest. wussies. NFC DOMES: Minnesota, Detroit, Atlanta, New Orleans, Arizona, Houston and Technically Dallas (retractable) AFC Domes: INDY Strange. Always wondered about that. So, if Green Bay and Chicago can play outside, why can't Detroit and Minnesota? And Atlanta? New Orleans? It's not even johnny blaze hot out in the fall like that... I hate domes. But domes are great if you are the home team.
Bro. You been to Detroit? If you've seen the outdoors there, not even 8 Mile, then you'd know that being indoors there is preferable. They don't even plow highways in snowstorms. At all. Cars flipping over every couple miles. No joke. That town lost its soul at the dawn of the modern era bro. Don't know the stats but Minny winters are intolerable. Lambeau is an anomaly. No one else likes it other than them.
Here it is: The official, in elevator Ray Rice knockout video.... Although I knew this was what happened based on Rice's lawyer's statement a few months ago, it is still hard to watch... I was a big Ray Rice fan. About to go home and throw his jersey in the garbage. I know, she hits him first and spits in his face and all that, but dang homie. You don't hit a woman. Ever. Shameful man. Now apparently, they want his head on a stake and they want Goodell fined. Goodell and Rice and the Ravens all watched this tape together and agreed on a 2 game suspension... Say whaaaaaat? http://www.tmz.com/videos/0_ekaflcqq/
It is brutal.. And he spits in her face first outside the elevator then hits her first in the elevator. Complete piece of garbage.
What a team of losers. Ray Rice and the murderer Ray Lewis. Baltimore management needs to start looking better into the personalities of these guys.
That pos should be clubbed to death, like, seriously. That girl coulda been dead and he didn't even care. This is a macro/societal version of jocks getting away w/ sh!t in school. They're treated like demigods all their lives, this is expected behavior. The Maya and Aztec used to sacrifice their most successful athletes.
When is the bronze statue of Rice being erected? Your buoy Lewis killed a man and you guys just immortalized him in sculpted form.
Matty Ice was on fire. They beat a very good team that played well. It was an awesome game and we had two screens going here. Bryant drilled two big kicks and is starting to be one of the premier guys at the position on a perennial basis. The loss of Matthews was huge, let's hope he's ok. Not again with the injuries. Props to the team for pulling through despite two big injuries. Rodgers's run could end up being best rushing play of the year. Wow. Not worried about this and I never am as you guys know from last year. The O-line was a sieve in the second half. Not like it's not a cause for concern but the team was straight up dominant in the first half. Tough to do anything when your QB is getting attacked on the reg. see you in February.
