The gopro pic (guy without the middle finger)...that's me. Snapped my finger few years before this pic was taken...I babied it a lot when it was injured...probably the result....and I hardly ever flip people off... ;-) As for the gopro connection to the board, I refused to use the 3m attachment for the gopro as I also heard stories of the camera being pulled off the mount. So, I installed an FCS plug as well as a leash cup into the board. Worked great and had very little movement...
