I haven't seen very many pics from anywhere else, the ones I have seen other places didn't look as good, everybody else on here is telling me how great the waves look and to stop rubbing it in their face, you got dudes b*tching that it was a let down and got skunked, meanwhile everybody in FL that was able to surf got the goods. Sisurfdog hasn't claimed anything because he was probably too far south and didn't make the drive up. He claimed on the last swell I believe, when he came off the bench from a injury. Just admit it, you just don't like me and enjoy trying to get under my skin about FL. It's fine, you're probably the biggest haole kook on the island who get's ran out of the water on the reg by the locals. They don't like you and they sure as hell don't want you there, that much i'm sure of. I tried throwing a little levity your way to bury the hatchet but you're clearly obsessed with me so just get it over with and ask me out already. The answer is still no, but hey, stop fighting the urge.
What he said- Drove down there yesterday all the way from North NJ based on 1/2 prediction and 1/2 timing hunch after HH closeouts plagued Seaside at dawn. Was a super fun day- Chest / Head for sure.
i can attest that Florida has better waves than Connecticut. i surfed was around this whole swell beginning to end and didn't see one barrel that was as good as those FLA pics. as for the forecast it wasn't that the wave height wasn't all that off. where I was the sets were just so infrequent. and there weren't any smaller waves coming in between. it just got boring as i was just steeping. after a while i just got out and fished. it was a great beach day.
DPsup, we probably have lots in common, you are ok, FL is just poo poo as it falls somewhere on the meh/clownshoes spectrum and PJ yes, I didnt even include CT because its coastline is LI sound, not enough Atlantic ocean Also, all things being equal (not like this storm track) I standby my previous quote

I knew it was sketchy...didnt know 4 break ins sketchy! I did pay the 5 bucks- mostly b/c i had 2 boards with me. first time in a while i surfed down there.....fun as hell- nice guys in the line up (where i was) Plus up $50 bucks on the tables and free drinks aint too shabby afterwards.

If anything, my point to that post was to say that you don't need OH necessarily to have fun and that we don't get head high and clean aside from "a handful of times a year here." Bro, the wave period that sets came in at yesterday is neither my opinion or anything I measured. You can thank NOAA for those scientific facts.
lol then whoever is contesting yesterday's wave period is taking it up with the wrong party. Contact guywhositsinchairalldayandmakesupnumbers@noaa.gov to file complaints.
not contesting period or data from a buoy, just what waves show up at the break. That can only be proven by a pic that is all. You talk a lot of smack about carvers, shredding, etc. Everyone is still waiting for the pics and videos.
