FCS 3 tab to 2 tab

    Has anyone tried cutting off the front or rear tab of an FCS 3-tab keel fin to fit into an FCS 2 tab? Thanks guys.

    No... Why not install a third plug?

    There's a reason why they have three plugs. A big fin like that, with all that area, creates a ton of force on the tabs. Not that it will fail, although it might, it will flex where you cut the tab off and you'll lose a lot of drive and responsiveness.

    That's a good point. Perhaps a nice project when its flat.
