might shoot down from jersey in a few weeks possibly 10th of october. Good swell chance? Spots? probably bring a 3/2 maybe boots, know the breaks are pretty shorebreaky slabs

good luck. Oct is great but you really have to have right swell and wind. No bends to the beach or shelter from differnt winds. This summer the sand was horrible but maybe it's moved a bit by now.

Bring a log or fish if it's a normal day of swell at teague. Breaks waayyyy out and needs a low tide. But really fun if the surf is up.

+1 for camping in oct. No ones there including the skeeters

    Food: awesome
Vino: superb (and inexpensive and no sulfates).
    Cheese: stinky good
    Bread: unreal good
Beach sights: stunning, just stunning with the French chica penchant for naked bronzing; this asspect of French culture did have a downside, what with 80 yr olds doing the same thing, whoa, one had to avert one's eyes or risk going blind

Waves: oh, uh, yeah, this was the reason we went.....terrific: from knee high at Hendaye to head high at Cap Breton to DOH at Le Penon: always something to surf, clean and peeling most days.

French surfers: about as dour as they are on land, absolutely no surfer camaraderie in or out of the water

Bonus sights & sounds: the ASP women pros were staying at same hotel
