okay, on a serious note. You actually hold the camera in your mouth as you are charging? Why not just mount to a helmet? I don't like the idea. You might as well get that ball gag and paddle out. no offense
In all seriousness: Go buy a helmet and helmet mount if that's your thang. For everyone making "gag" remarks, it's a scuba mouthpiece with breathable mount. Very comfortable and secure. But I get the feeling that some of you DO want to be gag, in which case feel free to stuff a sock in there. This will prevent breathing through the mount, while at the same time gagging you
Sorry, I haven't jumped on the GoPro train or the gag train. Whether its a breathable mount or not, it just seems like it would be awkward holding the camera with your mouth while surfing. Not trying to discount your item, it's just my feelings towards it. Is there any type of safety cord incase you accidentally drop from your mouth?
No worries, definitely don't get one if you think it would be weird! Not trying to hard sell anyone here, just letting everyone know that I have a pretty cool product if they happened to be looking for one. The pro's have been rigging up their own for a while now, it's not a radical new idea. We sell the backdoor floaties so your GoPro will float if you drop it. We also include a simple leash that you can clip to your wetsuit zipper (not around your neck, SORRY U BASTARDS THAT LOVE BEING CHOKED). And we are developing a nice adjustable leash that should be ready in a couple weeks, probably for a couple bucks.
What exactly does "Ho Stevie!" mean and the relevance to your small and very focused product line? I'm just curious.
Haha haven't gotten to writing the "About" section yet... basically it's just something my buddy always says to me. Hawaiian style. Nothing to do with the mouth mount
Words for you to live by, chucka-boo-boo. And stop trying to pull that red-ball tether from out yo' mouf.
Respectful to your opinion, but this was probably geared toward California and Hawaii surfers. It wouldn't be awkward if you're on a 20 foot pipeline wave. Sure, it would be awesome on a 8 foot clean east coast sesh, but probably only for barreling waves like in OBX or NJ. I like the product, its awesome now that people who do need em don't have to make their own unsafe, unsecure mounts.
Let's say you were shotting barrells and you got smoked by a closeout (fictitious hyperbole, of course) and swallowed the GoPro. Would it have infrared capabilities and get footage of your digestive system? How about the trip through the intestines, will it catch clips all the way til you shott it out? Or is that schitt not high tech enough yet? Please respond promptly with thoughtful answers. These are critical questions towards asserting one's lineup status.
I' ll handle this one Ho. It depends on the camera setting and how much fiber is in your diet. If you're taking video you'll only be able to see the first couple squirts of bile. Time lapse on a full charge and you may be able to capture the whole pewp.
