Thanks Cinch and tlokein. Clutch wasn't a band I was familiar with. I'll be listening to 'em now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kx6FV2qR2TY
The concert was great even tho they didn't play either of my fave songs. More beards than on Duck Dynasty. They had several new songs (Beardo said) but I couldn't tell. The band was tight. Lead guitarist seems a little shy but he wails. Got a new Tshirt. and a schitty pic from a schitty phone.
Graves is a better vocalist for them. Famous monsters and American psycho were perfect albums. Danzig has his own sound that I love. I think project 1950 was great. I still like his solo work better.
we saw The Call late last century while Mike was still alive. This is my favorite song of any concert I've ever been to, and I've been to a ship load. After he played the last note, there was a 2 sec moment of complete silence, the the crowd went wild. Mikey just stood there like, "Aw gosh" until we quieted down. Been listening to this album a lot lately Best Floyd album IMO

Seldom. Again I want to share that you are my favorite SI member. Few can understand the brilliance here...
The DUO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFh7cPKzw4s And Marco benevento by himself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXkOjkh9oZE
This is the only song by this guy I like. PLUS it's got Laird diving out of a helicopter and pulling a log down the beach.
Damn BWM, thank you. We're BFF's #forlyfe. Gonna PM you a funny story about the first time I listened to that album. And Marco Benevento is awesome dude! Especially w/ Russo. Saw MB at this festival a buddy of mine puts on up here, easily my favorite performance of the weekend. Saw Russo play w/ Further a bunch of times. Dude absolutely destroys it. The last show I saw they did a full Terrapin, and he was playing so hard in the weird part at the end he knocked his floor tom over, and recovered it before it fell, and never missed a beat.
I may not understand the brilliance but I dig the music. One of my favorite mellow albums is Pat Metheny's Questions and Answers.
