    From flhurricane.com :

"At 29/12Z an upper level cutoff low (Invest 97L) was located near Bermuda at 32.4N 65.2W with surface winds of 30 knots and a pressure of 1008MB. The low is moving to the north northwest at 3 knots and the system has a chance for additional development into a subtropical low. SSTs are at 28C. The system is located in an area of moderate northerly windshear but the shear is likely to weaken in the next 24 hours. The system should move slowly to the north and then northeast under the influence of a frontal zone moving off the east coast of the United States.

At 29/13Z Hamilton, Bermuda, reported a waterspout 4km to the east moving to the north. "

I missed Thursday. I hurt my knee/hip skating & surfing on Monday; the next few days I was really limping around. So I figured I would skip the meaty stuff and see how I felt Friday. Went to LB and it was a lot of fun, Saturday by us was fun too, with a big board.

Was Thursday better than Monday? Speaking of which, was that you I saw at the end of the night on Monday? You know, where all the cool kids hang out?

I don't know, the wind was wrong most of Monday and wrong the other way on Thursday. It was bigger Thursday. Friday morning was really good, I just have to remember to sleep in more so I miss the before work crew rushing around to meet their wave quota. I'm not sure where the cool kids hang out, but if you were skating at the rebuilt old park I probably walked past you with my kid a few times during the day.

Pretty cool....according to Accuweather there are as many as three subtropical featuers, one of these little swirls east of New England is what is left of 97L and it spun up a little closed circulation. Several interesting features on this loop, and more importantly its sending back tomorrows chest - shoulder high NE swell.

Yeah mitch, the break was HH and up today and somewhat clean. I only had 5 mins to check it. Been hammered with work every day the last several weeks and only been sneaking on here today for breaks to keep sane.

Tomorrow I'll definitely charge and it looks to be 7 at 11 with teen offshores. Should be solid.

It was real incestuous here today. Cleaner tomorrow and I'm definitely setting aside time for the dual session. The onshores won't make anything hollow for a good billeting but I'll still aim to smack some lips. Hopefully get pinned.

97L is up to 52mph winds now. That put's it way past TD status into TS status, but is it neither because of lack of true organization??? Still listed as being incestuous. The buoy here is 8ft at 11s now so this ain't exactly a windswell...
