I build AR15 receivers with it, and I don't use abs for those.

So, challenge accepted. I'll be willing to bet yours can't withstand 5.56 chamber pressure. I know mine can. I assure you, a 77gr hot round produces a bit more pressure than the ocean.

Or we can bet one of those 300k boards. I'll give that away on here too by lottery.

Ed Zachary. Didn't think for 3 seconds that Roy's board ever really sold.

Bro, you've got well over a dozen haters here and one single confirmed supporter. The other couple just said they're willing to accept a free fin and ride it once.

Your charade of innocence is tacky bro. You love raising hell here whoever you are.

That's a lot of bile over a fin design, some of you are screwed in a bit too tightly.

Regarding haters, the statement was "the strong majority believe he's off his nut"... in order to make this charge stick you'll have to show that more than 50 percent of swellinfo forum members believe this to be the case... good luck.

It sounds like you can do it, I'll be stoked to see the result.

What material are you going to use?

thats how i'd change it up if i could make my own. Widen the base a bit., keeps the bumps (i guess, i don't know what they do, but to keep with the original design)

Bro. Maybe 2 percent of registered "SwellInfo members" post in a year's time. Micah will tell you the stats. Only about 50 post on a regular, weekly basis. Fewer on a daily basis. Your crowd is small here. Let's say everyone here thought your kookwares were all the rage - we are still not even a drop in the bucket in the surf scene. Why even peddle your wares here?

There is one member that champions your work and a couple that are even willing to accept free goods. The rest jeer and heckle you to no end. We don't need a poll or an official campaign bro; your majority of haters campaign on the reg.

The widespread opposition to you is no more a secret than your pervasive megalomania.

Well. it looks like you are up against it then.

You also ignore those who view the forum but don't post, as if they don't count when they actually do. I know how much traffic I get from Swellinfo so either a few are hitting my site dozens of times daily or there are people viewing and following the links who don't post.

What's it to you anyway? It doesn't bother me even if true.

So Roy wants to see how many dislike him here? Let's do that sh!t man.

I vote Roy is a douche canoe and needs to get the hell of SI and stop using it for his own free advertising.

I am all for discussing design. I haven't worked with FEA or CAD in a while, but I used to be pretty good with it. If we are discussing design, why not show some modeling or flow simulations?

Roy its possible to use a 3d printer for your fin productions. Lots of new materials are coming out everyday they are just hard to find. Most of the newer exotic filaments are being produced by garage chemists and they are getting much better. Stronger, better layer bonding and better flex.... you just need to know where the insane chemists are.

Always a lot of Roy hate...but still like talking about your design Roy...

From what I read in the Sway's post on fin theory...the leading edge of the fin shape had validity...just because you don't see it on a store bought thruster means very little.

Regardless, I believe this is the initial sways post that got the ball rolling on some of Roy's fin work...Roy you can let me know if I'm wrong...in particular the front edge distinction--nt., post #28:

If Roy came here and posted modeling or flow sims or any other stats or data like Brew said then I don't think as many folks would have a problem with him as do now. The issue is that he does nothing but post pics of his retail products and links to his website to buy them. I really do not understand how Micah lets him continue this free advertising. If I was one of the folks who paid for ads here I would raise holy hell about it.

In addtion any time someone disagrees with Roy he gets an attitude that he is the best and the rest of us are sheep of the corporate surf industry. It is 100% impossible to have a design discussion with an egotistical sh!t stain such as Roy. Face it if you don't ride a 15 ft wooden plank made by Roy with a saw tooth bent d!ck fin then you are blindly following the masses and have givven in to Slaterism.

We've been 3d printing fins for the past year, in polycarbonate.

As you say there are new materials coming out all the time.

I've spent many hours here discussing the intricacies of my designs.
