He is Brew. That is all. But I do think the fin try out thing is a great idea. Despite my opinions on your prices of baords, loving of sheep and many other of your ways I could see the fins working and would try it out if there was a NC stop over for it.

 

I have no problem sharing my name through PM, but don't make me the start of the fin tour. I think FL is a better starting point.

I am an old surfer who rides shortboards, single fin classic longboards, and I am just finishing a high performance 9'2" 2+1 HPLB. I am curious about your new fins (I usually go with a 8" Ames Squirrel cutaway for snap and looseness). If you would be so kind as to send me one to try out, if I like it I will review it, order it, pass it along to another responsible member of the SI Forum community, and will rep it for you for a piece of the juice, if ya know what I'm sayin'. If I don't like it I will review it and pass it along as well. Fair enough?

What if someone got the fin for testing, did something really f*cked up with it, made a video, and then released the video after the fin had made its rounds?

Wow could this be a new day for Roy? Agreeing to let some SI members try out a fin and give a report? That is admirable and I am very interested in the reports. Although the scary looking front edge give me reservation I do see the potential for the fins.

 

Someone needs to PM me and tell me how to post pics on this site. Roy has agreed to let me try it out, and I have promised him to give it an honest tryout in several conditions, then find another member who promises to pass it on to another responsible member and so on. I want to post photos of the sessions, and my boards, but am a Luddite. This could be informative, cool, and a breakthrough in Yankee-Kiwi foreign policy. (I hosted a Kiwi and a Limey from Stormrider Guides for a few days, way back when. They were mapping all the surfspots in the US and I put them up for a few days. It was totally flat, so no secret spots were exposed).

I ain't slippin man. Roy is still king sheep banger for charging a million+ for a popsicle stick but if he is willing to let some of our crew try his fins for free then hey that is a cool move.
