Yeah, the shaper told me red was faster, and blue was a bit more maneuverable. And your right, with my luck It'll be a puzzle by the time it gets here.
I'm sure that board had plenty of performance for a non pro surfer. This forum has so much hate for anything over 6'. I would ride the crap out of that board
I told him I wanted something a bit more aggressive, with a bit more top end than the hybrids I'm riding now in the 6'2 - 6'4 40l range. This was his suggestion. I thought it was big, asked if we could go smaller.. he said sure.. but his opinion was the 6'7. So, I am trusting in the fact that he has been shaping for years, and knows better than I do.. we'll see I guess, but I don't think I'm going to be disappointed.
Both of those boards are sweet! Stoked for you both and also a little jealous. Hopefully wed is decent and you can get some good rides.
It's funny reading negative posts...not sure why...iam liking that blue! Very, very sharp! Nothing like getting a board in the mail...got one last week.
Nice board. Looks fast. I am down the line (aka old guy) surf style and I believe board would work great.
