Need some opinions. I am 5’11” and I weigh 185, intermediate to advanced surfer. Would you go for the:
    6’2” - 19 5/8 - 2 ½ CI Fred Rubble

    or the

    5’10” – 20 - 2 ½ CI Dumpster Diver?

Wouldn't recommend CI. I bought one a few years ago and it just didn't hold up. Crappy glass job. Thing looked like swiss cheese after 5 sessions from the pressure dings.

Between the two I'd say dd.

    Good luck.

neither. go to your local shaper, get a new board for cheaper and better. you're not dane reynolds. those boards may not be magic for you.

I currently have a 6'1" - 19 3/8 - 2 3/8 CI dagger and the board works great for me. Fortunately I havent had any problems with glassy, etc.

If you looking for a higher end DD...I would say the rubble...if you're looking to grovel a bit more than Dumpster diver...

are pro surfers considered advanced? If yes, then maybe you're at the intermediate level...

Were the same size. I have boards with both dimensions.
Get the 5'10. It will change your life.

This is better, but I won't buy it. If anyone wants to send me one, I'm down with that. PM me and I will gladly drink you out with a cheese stuffed crust Digiorno for retribution.

Im also afraid of crummy glass jos on CI boards after my own experience, but their boards do work well. Of the two, i would take the DD.

As an aside, those firewire vidoes were not impressive in my opinion. Not judging the surfers, but the board looks slow to me. Maybe its my imagination, but it looked like even when the rider was trying to work up speed, the board didnt respond well. Considering how wide and flat it is i would expect it to be fast, but it looks like it wants to be surfed in the pocket. Not what I would want in a board for micro conditions.

Then again, maybe im a weirdo.

One school of thought is that skill can be divided into: novice, intermediate, advanced, pro.

serssly...looks like a depressing day in SC...maybe that's the point though, it's so easy anyone can do it...at 1:38, if he'd a stuck it, was not bad though
