yes friday looks like the top of the crest, hope some stays through sat and sunday gonna be sunny and around 80 here saturday..doesnt look good for island of Bermuda though
Yep, with a white hood. Pretty sweet setup, plus it's got shark repellant for those recent feeding frenzies
Welcome bro. I'm actually not leaving til Friday night so I will hopefully get stoked on this swell before departure. Won't get Saturday or Sunday but I'll be fine with a good sesh.
since ur in mass im guessing the best day is going to be sunday since in nj early Saturday is the call.im getting a little scared im hearing too much hype about perfect winds with this swell.im not used to this, and its happening at the end of the week so I got 3 days to score Friday after work, early Saturday, and maybe early sunday if theres still some swell left.just hope the local beachies hold up and don't disappoint, its perfect size for jers aslong as the period isn't too long
Sunday looks biggest and that's due to the onset of long period. Anything over 11-12s seems to get shaky here in EMass but doesn't look like it will be greater than that. Who knows, Gonzo's winds have been blowing as high as 130mph and will still be cranking Cat1 by late Saturday not ridiculously far offshore. Could have a big push in period. Winds look to be in the mid 20's offshore by then so expect tonnnsss of feathering in your grill upon takeoff. Possible that late drops will be gnarly on the pitch as a result. Get to feet early in the blind mist like you was Van Damme in Bloodsport and stomp front foot for the drop before the lip heaves you. Get in it. I'll be out in the desert by then sacrificing myself like the fatted calf so EC Swellers can get stoked. You're welcome. Bro. That doesn't mean he is mad. "Heating up" means that a Sweller is getting the hot hand when it comes to post quality and wit. It is derived from the early-90's arcade favorite NBA Jam when a player hits two consecutive shotts from the floor. Upon landing a third shott, he's now "on fire" and is virtually unstoppable.
FYI, I noticed it last night but didn't take note as I thought it was an error. Saw 19s blast for Saturday night here in EMass. Don't see that now but MSW has 6pm in So. ME listed at 20s. Lists 4ft @ 19s with offshores for 9pm up there. Micah, is that gonna happen? Is even high teens probable for period? I'd love to see what breaks here look like with 16-20s holy schitt!!! Would think that's going to shuffle sand bars around a bit during the night.
This cane is upon us yet dis tread falls to page 2. Sometimes I wonder about this place. Micah, what's the deal on that long period? How bad would 20s period look in NE?
I try to keep my hype to a minimum, but I got three boards ready last night. Usually, I just grab a board on my way out, and here I am getting my equipment ready days in advance. Yeah, I'm excited for this one. The period isn't too crazy in my neck of the woods, I feel good about this one. I was also able to devise a clever way to get out of work and in the waves by noon tomorrow
No, I haven't transcended the banalities of "tricks" like he has, so he wouldn't let me borrow it. Plus, I don't know if I'm cool enough to rock the ultra hi-def model he has.
