that exact same video that vice news realesed like 7 months ago where theyr in the water and the blue glaciers come tumbling down was the exact same video that was on the weather channel talking about the seasons.weirdest weather was the show, had absolutely nothing to do with climate change debate, just very funny that 1 boat is weather channel reporting one thing and the other is vice talking about how doomed we are

The weather channel? You are losing it. The fact that you mention seasons, shows that you don't even understand what climate change is. Global warming has not been debunked. I am not really sure how anyone can call it a scam. It doesn't take a genius to understand that denial is worth more. How much is the oil and gas industry worth? They can and do buy governments. This is why conspiracy theorists lack logic. Most of the CT people I have talked to are antivax, but also do not believe in global warming. They hate big pharma, but believe all the BS being spewed by big oil. No reasoning in that thought process.
Btw, unlike most of the people on here, I have worked in the oil and gas industry. I have seen lobbying in the topic of climate change first hand. I have been to the meetings with lobbyists. It is all about spreading climate change denial, and the GOP is already in their pockets. To speak of it as if it isn't happening at all shows ignorance. Climate change is happening. The only real debate is how fast and how much we actually contribute. We do know that we are affecting it.

Vice and the Weather Channel are not reputable sources for climate research. This is an example of real research institutions:

The fact that you present that as an absolute, means we can't have a rational discussion about scientific topics.

yes its off the ebola topic but now ur talkin climate change and a side discussion on science proving many things you back. I was not referring to the hijacker (official) story, I was talking about the official story on numerous scientific reasons why certain things occurred. example: there was no real jet wreckage found at the pentagon. no wing or body parts, no luggage, no seats, no wheels, nada. just some small pieces of metal weighing less than 50lbs and an engine that was too small to be from the jet. official story says the jet vaporized from the heat created by the jet fuel. this is scientifically impossible under the circumstances of the crash. since science debunks the the govt's official story, i just want your opinion. im not looking for a debate. im not talking truther theory bs either. I just don't believe the govt's story based on science and the evidence at the crash site.

There are a dozen sites showing wreckage.

I am done here. I just don't care enough to try and debate with truthers, antivaxxers and climate change deniers.

The Yale-New Haven Hospital has confirmed that it a patient with Ebola-like symptoms.

The hospital said in a statement that it "admitted a patient late Wednesday night for evaluation of Ebola-like symptoms. We have not confirmed or ruled-out any diagnosis at this point. We are working in cooperation with City, State and Federal health officials. There is no further information available at this time."

A Connecticut official said Thursday morning that the hospital believes the patient is a student who came back from Africa. Tests are ongoing and the hospital is being cautious.

The patient is a Yale University student, one of two who returned last week from Liberia, where they spent a month researching Ebola. The other student is being monitored.

Why are there still flights going back and forth from the US to western Africa?!?!

I didn't watch the press conference yesterday, but I was hoping Obama was going to go that route finally. We can send as many flights TO Africa that they want. Just none back. The actual solutions that I would propose would be to setup a CDC facility up in Northern Africa that could test and quarantine citizens that want to leave the country. Once verified to be healthy, they can cross into Europe and take a flight where ever they want....

They can have an aide worker station somewhere closer to the core of the outbreak and have another CDC facility to screen healthcare workers and quarantine them before returning to the US. And they must fly into Atlanta or somewhere and be screened once again once their private flights land...

In summation, Africa is #148 or so on the list of international business, so cut all flights. Cut all exiting travel. If people want to go see their families in Africa, they can get a 1 way ticket and go through the 2 week exit process to get back out if they MUST go.... Shut Down. Flights. Please.
