Yeah... glad to hear you scored sbx. They were either in Jersey or sitting at home due to the forecast being red. I arrived after the wind was onshore again and had a ****ty go at it. Looking forward to Sunday... hopefully the temp drop will keep the crowd thin.
Friday AM before low tide at Croakatan was waist high with some chest high action. Lots of closeouts and mushburgers. Took a couple trips over the falls and bounced off sandbars. Had better luck catching rides off shoulders. Lunch time at Dam Neck was a little cleaner.

As i remain home today playing with my son cuz wifey has a prior engagement today, I can't help but be relieved cuz the cameras look like ****. Close out city w/ a million fooking donkeys sitting in the lineup. Jeez louise! I was all bummed i had baby duty...but now not really. Thursday PM and Friday morn was prob best around here (missed that too cuz of work). Today looks like a sh!t show!! Although i may try to paddle out this evening when i'm freed up. Current SurfLine report for Croatan (VB): top portion of report says 3-4 ft, lower portion has 6-7 ft, while webcam shows knee, occasional thigh high, with long periods of almost flat.
I just got back. was hardly shin high. found a prime parking spot a couple streets N of where Atlantic and Pacific meet. I was almost tempted to go out again but my wet suit was colder than the waves were ridable. BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Hey Brahs!!!! Yo, totally mackin hurricane swell brahs!!! You know what??? I ONLY GO OUT IN HURRICANE SWELLS!!! PHOTOGS AND PHOTO BOMBS!!! Don't you guys hate these kooks that act like you can surf outside of a hurricane on the EAST COAST??? SO GAY!!! The only time to go out is when theres a phat hurricane swell out brahs. I got in like 700 pics this morning alone. Probably gonna be invited to MAvs soon, but prolly turn it down cuz cold water is sooo gay. Boardies only brahs. These peeps in wetsuits disgust me with their "Oh I like to surf" and "whats up with all the donkeys?" YO! YOU ARE THE DONKEY BRAH! I totally checked out like 80 spots before paddling out. I put extra stickers on my car, played loud music and cut everyone off that can't drive like I can the decked out ride I rock. Shoulda seen my hair this morning. Peeps were all like "has he paddled out yet?" and "I can't wait to see him surf." All in a days work. I am just taking a break right now since I'm throwing dumptrucks not buckets like the sissies i see out there trying to follow "ettiiquette". Listen up bros, YOU AINT IN HAWAII!! Etiquette only exists in real surf. I won't have time to respond later since I will be using the prototype to the next iPhone to film some sick surfing on the part of me.
was nice at iop this a.m..nothing huge..waist high afew sets higher but the wind gave the wave a nice texture and were a lot of fun swell was definately waning though..was best at low tide plus hour or two
let u people know the exciting day I had today. first I woke up around 7 went to my local beachie and I had numerous ny kooks trying to follow me to where I go.I check one spot,they wait in their car,see me go to another spot and follow.i eventually shook the kook tails off and score some decent surf id say chest high to maybe 6 ft,it definitely wasn't 5-7 ft,there were a few good barrels but they were breaking super fast. so I leave around 12 and get back to my neighborhood,still in my wetsuit half down half naked and my boy I hang out with tells me someone he had beef with over 10 yrs ago who lives in another dimension was down in my neighborhood starting problems.ok so I pick him up and we're driving all over town looking for this guy,meanwhile im half naked,no shoes on,only imagining whats going to happen once we find this guy.im always ready for a fight but fighting in my boxers with no shoes on and a tight wetsuit around my waist wasn't going to be easy.we ended up driving around for an hour no sign of this person.then I get back to my house to see that someone broke in while my dog was in the yard.so we drive around for another hour looking for a person carrying my shyt but no luck.now I am finally home fixing shyt up.hopefully the rest of the day is a little better
Went out and played with Gonazalo today. One of those days where I just wasn't on my game. Caught a few nice ones but otherwise just wasn't hitting it on all cylinders today. Then caught a nice one for the last wave of the day, nice and clean right at the peak. Felt good to nail one solid for the last ride of the day.
AI was nutz today... Lots of closeouts, but lots of gems too. After grabbing a similar bomb to this one, I snapped some pics with my phone on the beach.
